Do you really think it's better than Shazam? I don't think so. I've tried both with the same songs and Shazam worked better most of the times.
I also like Track ID more than Shazam. Have used both. Track ID, for me, recognizes more songs, faster and more accurately than Shazam.
What I like best is that no matter how many times I changed ROMs, if ever I went back to a generic, stock 2.1 it would list all the songs that I already tracked. I have never seen Shazam do that.
I also like how it tracks popular songs from your region and others, also globally.
Anyways, I would REALLY like to get it working on my custom 2.2 ROM.
Thanks
Yeah track ID works way better for me too.. and in 2.3.3 you get a Track ID widget that's pretty useful too. But I'm not sure if you can put it on non SE phones

I had that problem when I was using a stock rom and I installed a youtube app.....
it also broke the inbuilt htc video player.......
Thats probably not whats happened here though lol
Double check your volume settings ie system/ring and make sure they are both ok
If the worst come to the worst then a hard reset should fix it.......
ive already tried both still it doesnt work i dunno whats wrong.
any other suggestions?

This seems to be very similar to another post where I replied with a probable solution.

Welcome XDa! I bought my galaxy s2 month ago. All working fine except one thing.. When im calling someone or when he calls me they almost can't hear me right like my microphone would be broken :-( . Then I need to click menu and turn off the noise reduction, then all is ok and they hear me right. It pisses me off when I.have to do it everytime I'm talking with someone. I had branded soft from orange (I'm from Poland). I'm newbie in Android things but it worked. Im using latest stock*I9100XWKK5 *Android 2.3.6 (MULTI CSC)-3 file from Samsung. Im wondering is my phone broken and should I give it on guaranty or search different way to sort my problem.my friend told I should go on guaranty because he has s2 too and he don't need to turn off noise reduction to let others listen him well. I'll also add when im recording myself in dictaphone then all sounds fine. Please help me :-( . And I also wanna ask if I'll want to go guaranty, should I put branded soft again ? May they have problems about stock but non branded soft? Thanks for answer in advance! And I'm sorry for my crazy English, I wish you will understand me lol

Flash a stock rom with Odin if problem is still there it is hardware fault..
i would suggest to go directly to service before you flash anything ,i guess you still have warranty
hy all,
i don't have a samsung phone (using oneplus one with android 7.1.1)
and i have a chance to buy the samsung gear S from a guy at work (he is not using it for sports).
is it worth buying for 100$ second hand?
i will be using it for running (instead of running with my phone+polar watch+polar strap).
thanks
Yes, definitely is worth it..
Yes, best smartwatch .
Gear S works only with Samsung phone (otherwise you must have a big luck to connect with many works).
Or use only on standalone mode without connected phone.
Did you end up getting one? How does it work for running? I'm thinking of getting one as I am in the gym several times a week and would like to be able to put headphones on and workout while listening to music. I read somewhere that with the stock Tizen, apps are slim and there is no music player. Is that true? I also like that I can put a sim card in my watch and use it for calls. That said, it might end up being a pain to move the card from my phone all the time. any recommendations? Clone sim (if that's even possible). I just want to know if this watch will still be able to do the stuff I want now that it's reached end of life.
