I'm getting this dead spot on my screen that appeared out of nowhere and it's starting to annoy me real bad. It only affects the s-pen for some reason. I can touch the spot with my finger and it works normally.
Has anybody else experience something like this?
Here's a screenshot showing what were supposed to be lines.

Notice the white spot to the right?
What could be going wrong?
Reboot and try the S-Pen test for me, please.

Also, if you have some sort of magnetic case, that may be the problem. It's a known issue.
Thank you for taking your time to help me!
Here's the S-Pen test thing.
Don't know if I'm doing it correctly.
Is that what you were looking for?
Could you try another pen?

Yup, do you have any sort of case/protector on it?
Have you dropped it or pressed that area too hard?
Try removing all accessories.
Other than that, if the problem still persists, definitely contact Samsung.
Is the screen scratched? My screen protector is scratched is sometimes messes up right at the scratch.

I have noticed a large amount of dust accumulating under the top right hand corner of the screen.
Has anyone else noticed anything similar or know how to get rid of and/or prevent any more dust entering?
Thanks

Crack it open and clean it out.
Same problem here, but mine is under the screen, near camera button. I think the only way to solve it is send the phone back to the provider and ask them to clean it up.

Not really the only way, I'd try it myself or take it to a shop before sending it back to anywhere.
I think according to ur pic's it's just under the screen protector

So I've used different drawing apps (quil and sketch book pro) with a stylus (generic stylus) and every time I try drawing they always come out squiggly. Drawing horizontal or vertical lines are OK, but diagonal lines always come out crooked. So it makes it impossible to draw, at least for me. I also tried playing with touchscreentune, nd I still get the same thing.
So my question(s) is, does anybody have this problem? Does getting another stylus help with this? Or is it the tablets fault?

Everybody has this problem. The stylus makes no difference. There are already at least 2 long threads on this issue, search for them if you need more info.

If its possible to point me in the right direction? Search button seemed to have disappeared =[
edit: its back up, but now its just down.
OK guys so I'm really worried about this. I recently decided to go ahead and root and unlock my Tablet. So I flashed AndroWook and installed touchscreen tune to see if it made a difference. Everything was fine and dandy until I noticed while browsing that at some points on the screen I couldn't scroll. I didn't pay much attention to it cause it happened in an area of the screen I don't touch. I then had some other issues with the screen that i just solved by turning off and on the screen. I eventually blamed it on touchscreentune because at one point i kept getting pop ups saying touchscreentune was denied rot access so i uninstalled and everything seemed good .Then today I noticed it again when I was arranging apps on my homescreen and on that spot I couldn't place anything.
This hadn't happened before while stock, so I'm wondering if it's something that arised from rooting/unlocking.
I tried to "visualize " the spot here. While typing the inactive letter work after turning the screen off/on. But general touching doesn't respond.

Was walking home, and found this on the floor. I've always wated to find a phone on the floor, but this isn't exactly what I had in mind.

All I'm able to tell is that it's a Samsung device, and it may be GSM because of the microSIM slot I see on the back. The back had no battery, no cover, no SIM, the screen is clearly decimated, two capacitive buttons missing (it takes talent to break capacitive buttons) and most buttons are pretty much loose.
I may spend a little money to get this thing fixed up, assuming it even turns on. I planned on getting a battery to test out first, then if it worked, fixing up the phone and keeping it or selling it. Not anytime soon, since I just bought a Nexus 4 while already low on leisure money, but it would be nice.
From the picture you provided and the detailed description it appears to be a Samsung Epic 4g.
If your interested in some replacement parts for the device I would recommend taking a look at these parts www.globaldirectparts.com/Samsung-Epic-4G-Replacement-Repair-Parts-s/6425.htm.

Just brought it, i really like it in all aspects except the annoying rainbow effect, i can even see it without tilt the tablet, especially in landscape, just wondering EVERYONE have this problem? after some time of use you get used to? any way of fix it?
I was thinking of change it but it doesn't make sense if all units are faulty
Rainbow effect:

I am unable to access your screen picture but my tablet is perfectly normal and has none of the aberrations you describe. I was in a shop yesterday and handled the two display models and they were fine too. So I would suspect a fault with yours.
Here are the pics http://imgur.com/a/mpuTI#0
So your tablet doesn't have any of this when you tilt it?
I noticed a rainbow effect when I first got mine, but now I don't see it at all unless I really look for it.

No, none of that. Using the same Google page,I have tilted it in every direction and it is a clean high quality IPS screen with no artifacts.
