On my SGS3 when booting I see Samsung Galaxy S3GT-I9300 sign. Is it possible to change that sign or replace with custom image? On my previous phone (HTS Desire) it was easily possible.
Thanks,
Ruben
No one even thinking about it?
You could contact the dev Hellcat .

See if he can get it to work on SGS3.

I have installed new Omega Rom but when the phone starts (HTC HD2) the first screen is Energize screen from my previous ROM,how can i remove it?
You need to flash a custom splash screen. You can find several in the HD2 Themes and Apps section.
Thank you,i did it,everything is ok now.
how do wen change the spalsh screen on the vibrant, the one right after "Samsung Vibrant"
the 1 after the vibrant screen on most custom roms is the kernel splash so change the kernel to change that (kernels have their own though)
my custom bootanimation doest show up, u think u can try to fix it?

yea...i asked someone to test and see if my boot animation worked for them, because it isnt working for me. And if not than do anyone know what im doing wrong...
Hello, yesterday I recieved a new S III from my operator (movistar) and I've been rooting it and cleaning all the **** it brought (preinstalled apps).
There's something that I can`t remove, the operator's splash screen. It appears every time I turn either on or off the phone and plays a short animation where the word "movistar" is showed. It's really annoying and I don`t know how to get rid of it.
For the moment, I've been looking for a "bootanimation.zip" in System/Media but there's just the Samsung boot animation (which I'd like to keep). I also deleted the "stk.apk" app but nothing changed.
If anyone know where can I find the operator's splash screen file in my phone in order to delete it I'd be really pleased.
Thank you,
Ferran
I suppose that the operator doesn`t really matter and that the splash screen is similar to a T-Mobile one or a 3 one. I'm sure there's a way of removing or changit it but I couldn`t find it on my own, help me please!
Boot splash screen .
Remove by flashing stock rom
Or use search to find the same question asked before and modify the required file yourself .
Boot splash logo is param partition

bootanimation.zip is on: /system/bin/
folder. If i delete it the splash animation will disapear?
I've searched on this but can't find anything. I have a Three network Galaxy SIII that has been network unlocked and works on my O2 account. The only annoying thing is the Three network logo (in black on a white background) that runs at boot and closedown.
I found this thread that describes how to remove what I take to be a similar logo on a Motorola device but, on looking in the same directory, there is no similar directory. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2445150
Does anyone know where this lives on an SIII and how to remove it. I don't want to flash a custom ROM, just remove the ugly Three bootlogo.
These branded bootanimations are in Samsungs´ QMG format. You´ll need to replace the animations and you´re ready to go
I´ve created a flashable.zip for you with the Stock Samsung Bootanimations inside

Click to collapse
Boot Logo if it is the splash screen that has replaced the initial Samsung S splash screen its not changeable .
If its the boot animation after the splash then delete the bootanimation files .
System/ Media / Bootsamsung QHG and Bootsamsungloop QMG .
Boot animation see Themes and apps .
Shutdown is System/ media/ video / shutdown/ shutdown QMG
Yeah 3 UK is just a boot animation. Although, there is other "Three crap" on the ROM too, so I would personally just flash latest unbranded BTU, but that's not to say that this is THE solution. Just A solution
Just flashed these. Big delay I know but that's another story.
Anyway. They all got copied into system/media The shutdown file was the only one that didn't replace an existing file and, sure enough, boot up now shows the Samsung S but shutdown still shows the Three logo. Anyone know where the three shutdown file is located?
Edit: Found it in system/media/videos/shutdown
s6 edge stuck on splash screen, tried wiping everything then via Odin, loaded stock ROM downloaded from Samfrew site. Have tried all the tricks but can't get past the Samsung S6 splash logo... anyone help please?
Me too
Men i did the exact same thing 2 years ago... The phone is not working anymore for me too....
But you have motivated me... When i go back from my vacations i'm going to try to install another ROM from recovery. I will keep you in toutch if i suceed.
(Sorry for the bad english (french))
ok i'm stuck....
so I've made some progress...
basically my phone is pretty broken....
my bootloader is locked, but I have TWRP :silly::laugh::laugh:
so I tried to flash a custom rom :
the edyoblue-nougat-v9-0-finale (i can't post the link.... i'm a too young member...)
but without success...
:crying::crying:
Keep trying! I've given up, tried several ROMs including the stock..... nothing gets me past the splash screen. Keep me informed.
Hi....
just try the following:
Download the Firmware you want for your s6 edge with the tool SamFirm!!!
Do not use v_0.3.6 just use the v_0.3.4!!! because 036 show 1,9Gb but 034 show 2,4Gb size
you will see in the following link:
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1ezbpgKYp5gvtMVsXnjWcjDGPFYoRovFN/view
Use the Odin 3.12.3 for flashing the Firmware....for Odin needs to run as administrator
Good luck

Thanx for the info, I gave all of the above a whirl but still can't get past the splash screen. Is there something out there that sets everything back to default? ... if there is, where is it? and how do I apply it? If there isn't then I'll just assume the phone is bricked. ?
