Hey my beloved Galaxy Ace users,
After using Desire S, One V and xperia U. I had to tell you all that ic you are planning to buy a medium range monster device go for xperia U. One v spoiled my money as it is laggier than the most lagging mobile. Desire s is nice device but out dated. Now i use Galaxy ace and xperia U.
Please don't buy One V or Optimus Black.
Thanx_

Just a suggestion...you might want to reconsider creating new threads to increase post count..
but only 8GB internal storage and only 4GB accessible
no expandable memory
But have a usb otg option. If u want memory u can have one v but playing temple run is bull crap in it. Now u now how laggier it is.

How is xperia Ray.?

If you would like to have a smaller screen then its also a good choice. But I would recommend you to buy new Sony (not Sony Ericsson] Xperia because they have some new technology. I think one phone out of the three Xperia NXT series launched is priced around Xperia neo or ray and that phone has a screen size equivalent to ray. Neo still has a larger screen size.

Come on this is a no-brainer.. In my country nexus 4 sells for 550$ ..so I will obviously buy the Xperia Z.. No confusion...i will take the sexy, water proof, glass body beast please with HDR camera...

You asked the question on a Sony forum so you aren't going to get unbiased answers here. My opinion: if you can get Nezus 4 for 350 then do it. If Nexus 4 price is similar to Xperia Z then get Xperia Z.

My first android is my xu
And definately next will b a nexus 4
I can confirm this with narco test also
I'm going for either Xperia Z or ZL. Whichever I feel better to use with my hands.
Xperia Z

I would definetely go for the Xperia Z... great specs and best of all... water and dust proof

Hi guys I was browsing the web and I saw battery's for our neo v with more capacity like 3400 mAh!!!
And I was wondering if anyone has one or tried one? Are they bad for phone? They have same voltage and everything the have just got more capacity!! Thanks!

They are also double the size so they won't fit in our existing covers.
But I had seen a post where a user told that his phone broke when he dropped the main reason being the battery increased the weight which the phone isn't meant to hold

Hey !
Here you go.
http://www.mugen-power-batteries.co...ny-ericsson-xperia-neo-with-battery-door.html
it also says that its approved and tested.
the best part is that it says its 8 mpix . it would be cool having a neo v with that back cover(tell ppl that you hacked and modded it )
the colour dosen't look all that great anyways. thats my opinion..
and BTW this thing 'does' make your phone a lot heavier and bulkier.!
and till my knowledge mugen power is popular and good.
please hit 'thanks' if i helped.!

Xperia neo V has 1GHz single core Qualcomm Snapdragon S2 processor & MSM 8255 SoC.. Check gsmarena for full specs...
And learn to search mate, u can easily get the answer from the first search result... & why did u create a new thread for that?? U can ask this on general chat or in other existing thread... Dont know why u guyz dont read the forum rules first..

No, u need to unlock bootloader first then u have to flash custom kernel to overclock
Sent from my Xperia neo V using Tapatalk 2
As i know you..
you need unlocked bootloader to overclock because you must install custom kernel. It support 2ghz overclocking. Most people prefer (at least this is what i think.) to overclock at 1.4 Ghz because it is a stable and more safe. Well our phone as you already know has ICS/GB/ and JB(unofficially).I recommend ics. Well it can currently play any game available on market (*at least this my opinion) except THD games which chainfire 3D cant make them work. Also it has 4fingers touch-screen. 720p camera recording. Armv7 processor. Ohh and 3G calling is impossible .

Hello mate! You can explore a lot of things also here in neo v forum. If you're in a locked bootloader you will have 1Ghz, decent for playing most of the games in play store. But you will experience some lags using a stock ICS ROM so I suggest using a custom ICS ROM when ur neo v is rooted, perfect for playing and everyday use.
Cheeeers!!
If i not root neo v i can play games like temple run ,need for speed, brothers in arms etc? ?

Yes you can. Even HD games, but expect lag during the game, since stock ROM are loaded with bloatwares which eats much of RAM, you may try to kill background apps to lessen the lag.
You can't overclock just by rooting... But you sure can play games better... After rooting remove bloatware... This will significantly lessen ram consumption...

If you are a hard gamer you should stick to GB and you can play all HD games without any issue

I think so too. Read a lot here. No lags while playing heavy games with gb. There are some good gb rom´s here like AtoMic, Codename etc

Yes you can play HD games better on GB than ICS or JB without rooting!
GB offers more free RAM as compared to the others..
But in terms of looks, GB lags behind them big time!
But since you're into gaming stick to GB..

For removing bloatware, root your phone and install titanium backup or any file explorer that gives you root access, there you can delete or uninstall the system apps which you don't need!

Just search for Neo rooting on xda, you will find many guides here, and after rooting you can try APP QUARANTINE to freeze all bloatware, you can find it on google play > play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ramdroid.appquarantine&hl=en
or there are many debloated custom roms here too, do a search and study them, install the one you think will be best for your use!
hope i helped!
any user here can post there pros and cons on these two epic roms of GB?
I've tried both and I like both very much. Unfortunately, both gives me problems with the Phone function. It could be me only though. Game-wise and battery-wise, both are great. Suggest you try both for yourself and then you decide. The good thing about trying these 2 epic ROMs is that you won't have to change kernels. Frankly, I feel that Codename 9.3 is a bit better than Codename X. But that's just me.
Sorry man...we just dont compare roms here..
Since you have narrowed down your search to two roms... Why dont you give them a try... Nd choose the one that you find better..
Respect the work of these Devs..
