[Request] Guide to upgrade to official ICS from leaks. EU leak-> ASIA - Motorola Droid RAZR

Can somebody please post a guide on how to upgrade from the EU .33 leak to AsiaRetail? Is it the same process as the unbrick solution? ie...can I RSD AsiaRetail n then apply the OTA? Using a patched boot.img ofcoz.

It should be the same way. But you need an patched Boot. Img, like you say and the System Signed of the Base GB Rom.
There shouldn't be an problem with the CID. You were able to flash the EU Leak without deleting your CID, so your way back should be easy.

any news on the new kexec, kholk? What happen with second CPU?
Also how do you boot to Moto's recovery? Is it like CWM? Can anyone check if Swedish is availabe as language?
Also, please in the future, upload the stuff on XDA and do not redirect to other sites, it's annoying when we need to fix new accounts somewhere else. So someone please put up a mirror.
So all I have to do is download boot to recovery and flash that's it and i'm on ice cream sandwich boom?

No.
i see you're from USA so you might have a CDMA verizon razr, so it's really more complicated than that, you rather wait for official release (end of june maxx so 15days) or flash cdma leak, you have a lot.

probably, but you'll have to do some trick, because the final will be an OTA, and to flash this OTA you'll have to be on gingerbread before, and this leak is not downgradable to GB.
So if you want to have the official WAIT, remember ICS will be release in Q2, Q2 end in 16days. so you better wait. Or you can flash it since it's probably the final release.
Since now I'm on latest 4.0.4 en.eu leak, can i:
- fastboot to Chinese GB
- boot to recovery
- update OTA

i sent you a pm.
I'm d'loading as we speak. Can anyone comment on performance? I am having some bad wifi signal issues and all the resolutions I have found point to software updates. Im happy to try this out as I am confident the devs will create ways to flash other stuff in the future (I'm very interested in miui v4 and cm9).
What I'm. Getting at is, is the radio performance improved or would I be better holding off for the official UK release?
Ta.

What ICS Leak do i use??(impatient)

Hey guys.
I'm on the China ICS Leak 67.2.120.XT910
I was wondering wat ICS Leak should i use cause this leak isnt full yet like
usb mount, wifi tether..n this leak can downgrade to gingerbread..any suggestions??
No other leak can downgrade
Sent from my XT910 using XDA
i know that ..thats why i want some opinions on other leaks that i can use
If you have your mmcblk1p18 backed up, go back to GB and restore it.
And then you can try EN.EU leak, without erasing the CID. USB mounting will work fine as you don't need to boot from BPtool.
But as FrAsErTaG said, you can't go back

S-off help

Ok So I did s-off but used the stock firmware and on gingerbread. I want to install a rom with the new ics ruu leak but I already did s-off on gingerbread and installed the hboot. Do I have to go back to s-on then install ics ruu and go s-off again with the ics version? trying to not brick my phone. I should have changed the firmware before hand but didn't read the FAQ only the instructions. I don't know what to do.
No you can run the ruu without worrying or there's a thread in development with just the radios and firmware that you can flash without having to run the ruu. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1614366

I'm not sure what you mean. I would go with the latest .10 I think it has jb hboot 2.2525. That way you have the latest radios and can fastboot flash your recovery without having to unlock

Either stock or JB HBoot should be fine, as long as its the 2.25 ICS 5-7 one. I'm on the stock one and have flashed several ICS ROMs just fine. Only reason you'd need the JB one is if you need extra fastboot commands I believe. Since I don't really do anything with fastboot, I just grabbed the stock one.

Flash OTA v.3 over ICS Retail

Hello,
I want to install the V0.3 OTA update on my Latam RAZR, but I already installed the Retail.BR update of ICS.
According to pedrotorresfilho post "If you're already in ICS all you need is to have a latam device and flash the GB base with the provided script", I must flash the file system.img trought RSD Lite?
Thanks
Anyone?
You have to flash gb base prior installing ics via recovery menu as said in the post.
Cheers

Been running the jb Vodafone EU update. Followed the guide, kept my root and all is well.
Made a few changes. My 3g signal was always full but the internet access used to be spotty. Just patched the radio from the EU retail leak and all is well.
So go ahead and flash the retail EU leak. Don't bother with the Vodafone one. I was impatient so I'm stuck with this with root access or flashing the EU retail sbf and losing my root.
DM me if you have any questions or need any help.
Cheers

Its been officially announced by Motorola that Indian Razr & Razr Maxx will remain:good: on ICS and there will be no JB update so the better option is to switch to EU JB. I have switched and have no regrets..
