[Q] Xperia Go CWM Problem

Hi
I've unlocked the bootloader of my phone, then installed CWM. cwm was working fine for days, then I can't boot into cwm.
cwm is installed. (I can install zip files from pimp my rom where cwm in required)
But I can't install any roms cause I can't boot into cwm menu.
So what do I do now? Can I directly reinstall cwm? OR I've to flash back to stock ftf file and then again install cwm?
Its weird. :s

installed CWM recovery over TWRP with rom manager- how to remove CWM?

need some help please. just did something pretty dumb in a moment of not thinking. i went into rom manager and flashed cwm recovery (I'm using Hairy Bean 1.51 with TWRP) over the damn TWRP recovery, then did a system backup through rom manager. now I can boot into the rom, but no chance of recovery (as i'm guessing there is a twrp/cwm and possibly jb/ics conflict - if the rom manager flashed ics cwm recovery)
how do I get back my twrp recovery?
NB. Rom manager shows both TWRP recovery as well as CWM flashed and I can choose which i want to use... but when I pick TWRP, I still cannot access recovery. Is there an ADB command I can use to remove CWM and then reinstall TWRP? (I already tried installing the TWRP over it hoping to overwrite, but both recoveries still exist)
FIXED, NM.

[Q] Installed twrp 2.3.3.0 and cant flash ROM, what are my options?

Problem -
Using twrp v2.3.3.0 every ROM i try to flash i get a failed message (status 7).
Basically my phone is semi bricked.
I think my solution is to update to the latest twrp and try to reflash my ROM.
Question -
How do i install a new recovery if all i have on my phone is twrp (v2.3.3.0)?

The best way to recover a soft bricked phone is to download a firmware from Sammobile and install it on your phone using Odin. That will restore your phone with stock firmware and recovery. Then you can flash a custom recovery and root your phone again. Your phone still shows as "Added" in Odin, when in download mode and connected via USB cable to your computer or laptop?

I had this error awhile ago. Error status 7 in Cwm Or Philz Cwm or TWRP
i fixed this issue following this Thread.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2535367
Thanks for the replies.
I managed to use Odin to flash a new updated twrp recovery image. Using the latest twrp, i selected exactly the same ROM and it worked. So the problem lay with an outdated twrp.
I can thoroughly recommend against the package i used to install twrp, it screwed me for a while.
Get Odin and do it yourself

Is it ok to flash twrp over cwm or do i need to remove cwm first

Is it ok to flash twrp over cwm or do i need to remove cwm first. Hi i have been searching for this particular topic and found no definite answer. I am currently trying to flash blisspop rom on my phone and it says to use the latest twrp recovery. The problem is I have cwm installed on my phone. So my question is ok to flash twrp over cwm or set my default recovery to twrp
@onedaynerd: simply replace CWM with TWRP 2.8.6.1 by Odin. Ashame TWRP can't read/restore CWM-backups.

As far as I know, there will/can be only one recovery. Any recovery can be overwritten by the other. Just flash the new recovery and it automatically replaces the old one.
Example, If you are currently having CWM then boot into CWM recovery and flash the TWRP recovery zip file and reboot the device. Check the recovery by booting into recovery again. Now you will find TWRP as your recovery. CWM will be gone.

Question Fastboot looping

I installed Evolution X 5.9 and my Lineage Recovery is missing. I tried to install again the recovery image and it didn't install. I went to bootlooping the fastboot logo. Any help?
What do you mean by bootlooping the fastbokt logo, it won't stay on the fast boot or it keeps cycling

I already solve it. But one thing is not clear to me. When I install PE recovery and install custom rom, after installing the rom, my PE recovery change to Lineage Recovery. How does this happen?
Recovery is currently part of boot.img
The alternative recovery must be on the ramdisk.

Some roms including recovery installation, Such as Xperience rom when you flash it successfully it will change your recovery to Xperience recovery.

Cuz Recovery of RMN10 is inside the boot image. Therefore when u flash new ROM, if the Dev placed other Recovery inside boot.img , then ur recovery will be changed to that one.
Oke oke. All good now. Thanks for the help guys! Much appreciated!
