I am sorry if this has been answered. I did search for it but didn't find exactly what I am looking for.
I am wondering if there is a way to push the phone browser (Galaxy S3) to an android tablet (transformer infinity / other) and view it in a large format (formated to the tablet screen)?
Also can the tablet control the browser?
This would be a way for one to bypass the tether requirements of At&t.
Thanks in advance and sorry again if this has been covered.

Haven't found a pertinent topic via search, so I thought I would start the topic over to cover the specifics of what I'm looking for. Let me start with the situational background;
My father, new to android, bought a Samsung Galaxy 10.1. i want to be able to show him some tips, tricks and settings. I am 2000 miles away, so to be able to do this, it is going to have to be a remote/desktop viewing of sorts.
Basically, I want a remote desktop for his tablet, where I can view/control it via EVo, Asus Transformer, or even a PC.
If this is possible from an unrooted client, that would be slick. Thanks in advance.
You have this:
http://androidwebkey.com/
But you have to get the tablet rooted.
Then you can control the tablet from a browser.

We are seeking a method to hack into the Vizio WiFi (internet enabled) TVs which we believe run on Android, and add apps. The first app would be a browser, Chrome for example.
Please let us know if you have knowledge of how to do this.

They do not run on android, unless you somehow got ahold of a brand new 2013 model that is based on the same firmware in Vizio's Co-Star (the Google TV box by Vizio) - and I'm not even sure the new line of TVs will be 'GoogleTV based', I just know they plan on dropping Yahoo... hopefully that firmware is retro-active and I can upgrade to it... doubtful, very doubtful, but still - hopefully?
My Vizio E3D470VX uses Yahoo! internet TV services.... which (IMO) suck. From what probing has been done, it appears to run on Linux, possibly a modded version of Ubuntu which supports the Yahoo! TV apps... more like widgets in my opinion, but whatever at least its 3D.
Here is what is known so far: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=36898270
Here is what it could look like *IF* it did run android / was based on Google TV similar to the new Vizio Co-star box: http://www.googletvforum.org/forum/...into-3-000-vizio-samsung-lg-look-like-tv.html
Honestly I was kind of mad when I saw an article about the Co-Star Google TV box.... because it had the EXACT same remote sitting next to it, with the qwerty keyboard on the back, just like my remote has.... Only the qwerty keyboard on my remote never gets used and is pointless..... I really hope someone can hack this to run some form of android, or even a linux based XBMC add-on ... at the least some sort of custom firmware option... anything should be better than what it is, especially the interface for DLNA/UPNP and USB drives....
Simple solution: buy equiso from your local wal-mart. Plug it into the hdmi port in the back. From equiso, run any Android apps you want from the App Store. Need to have Wi-Fi or a wireless tether for internet access, FYI. Equiso runs Android 4.3 I believe.

Hi All,
I will be picking up a replacement for my Acer A500 tablet (I'm moving to a Lenovo Thinkpad Tablet).
I have a few games, etc. on there that I would like to keep the settings and move them to the new tablet. Can someone tell me where I'd find the folder that contains these settings? Is there an easy way to move them from a non-rooted tablet to another non-rooted tablet?
(and yes, I did search the forums, but nothing relevant came up - unless I was using an incorrect search string).
Thanks!
You can't get those files without Rooting so your only choice is to Root and use Titanium Backup.
Hi Everyone,
Is there any app or mothered that will allow me to remotely change text displayed on an Android tablet from another android tablet or phone?
I am planning a charity fundraising event and it would be grate if I can hang my Motorola Xoom (running Android 4.1.1 Jelly Been) up on the wall with total amount raised and be able to remotely change / add amounts as people donate with my HTC One X or HP Touchpad running Android 4.0 ICS.
FYI: All devices will be connected to same Wi-Fi network.
Many thanks and any help/advice will be highly appreciated.
I don't know any app that does this. Airdroid can open web Pages remote or add text to the clipboard but not show a notification.
Sorry hope it was useful, if yes thank it.

Hello´s 2 all
1. Any suggestions for the best Docking station for an S3, I need one for my office desktop that I can easily slot my s3 into, with USB to recharge and remote control via Windows 7 PC.
2. Also it would be top$ is anyone has ideas to the best software/app that would give me full remote control from the PC over the S3 so that I can utilize my Windows 7 PCs Keyboard and mouse to use the S3's apps, phone, SMS etc. ?
Have tried to search the foras here but the search seems down for service.. And I cant get Google/Play to display the needed results
Airdroid is a pretty good android control app, it doesn't do exactly what you're asking, but it allows you to manages files, send texts emails and all sorts of stuff from a nice web browser interface.
As for best docking station, check the accessories forum for the i9300, there is a thread there for best accessories

I will give Airdroid a try, all ready got DroipTop that does something similar and if I root my S3 Droidtop can do remote control, screen shoots, but I am not to happy under the warant and so on to root my s3 at the current time.
Another one I have tried is Teamviewer "TV QuickSupp" app, witch is slow and only works over mobiledata network, if this worked over USB/WIFI it would be just what I was looking for
I started out writing my question in the i9300 accessories forum, but noticed that questions was not allowed :-/
