Hello, I have a NEO (MT15a) running 4.0.4 Global. I am using it about 1 month and its good with SuperCharge but the problem is with laying Games. Many games are not optimize for ics and not working. So, I want to go Back to GB stock 4.0.2.A.0.62 but I really like the theme of ics and sweep to close app feature and improve camera. So, what I want is GB stock 4.0.2.A.0.62{(MT15a not MT15i) (pre rooted would be good)} and how to Root it + I want Ics theme/look.
Can anyone provide me an ftf of GB stock 4.0.2.A.0.62(MT15a) pre-rooted or How to root?
U want root your 0.62 right? If yes, u need to do this via fastboot, will send you a tutorial if I will find him

I have an INDIAN Xperia Neo V device currently running on 4.1.B.0.431 firmware. I am thinking of rooting it, for which I require 4.1.B.0.431 and 4.1.A.0.562 kernel files, INDIAN version.
Any idea from where I can get them? I tried searching and downloaded a couple of them but they seem to be international versions.

Thanks for reply, mate! Now I guess the "i" in MT11i stands for 'international'.
Thanks again!

yup MT11i = International Version & MT11a = America
and for your information 4.1.B.0.587 is available for download, why dont you update first then root your phone....
it doesnt matter..as Samak said..
U can flash international, nordic..etc..evrything will work fine..
I think i flashed nordic .587 coz .587 was not available in India at that time..atleast for my SI..
Thanks for all your inputs guys! I was able to root with available international kernel.
My phone had previously notified me about 4.1.B.0.587 update available. But since I needed to go back to 4.1.A.0.562 for rooting, it made no sense to update. So now I'm having a 4.1.A.0.562 kernel on rooted device. And loving it!
Thanks again guys!

Why just .431 kernel...
He can very well flash just .587 kernel that won't have any issues with root.(don't flash entire fw..you'll lose root @ OP )

I know, but the list above conatains only releases starting with 4., so I suppose these are not the original stock 2.x versions. What I'm looking for is the SW was on this handset when it was originally released (JB)
Thanks
