I would stay away from this game for now. You start the game with a great gun. Then about 15 minutes into it that gun is taken away from you and you're given a crappy pistol and told that you can buy your original gun and others as in-app-purchases. The gameplay and graphics are really good, and I would have gladly paid $5 for it without any IAPs. I really expected more from Madfinger, Shadowgun and Samurai Vengeance are great games without IAPs. LAME!

eh not everything is in-app-purchases, ive been getting thru it just fine and have bought several guns with the money earned from missions. only certain items are paid only. not a fan of iaps myself but it doesnt seem to be essential for u to purchase anything unless u want to
Yea I paid for it... Its fun but I can tell once you get far in it you're either going to have to but some in app stuff or play the non story missions forever to save up money..

Asphalt 6 has decent 3d but it looks a little weird when it loads the buildings during a race. Other than that the 3d is nuts

I haven't bought any 3D games but I had Shift, Sims and Modern Combat on my Nexus. Sims and Shift won't download and Modern Combat isn't even in the market for this phone. Kona create freezes up also. Pretty wack!

I did a quick minireview on Kona's Crate at Amazon and got a response from a dev at Darkwind saying they are working on getting the game stable on E3D and Sensation.

Just wanted to give every gamer a heads up on the new official games release from Gameloft. Btw 9mm all these games are top notch. Especially 9mm and O& C Gameloft took it to a new level of mobile gaming with these.

Order and Chaos is like world of warcraft without the crap with 100's if not thousands of quests and 9mm is like Max Payne/True Crime with almost console graphics, voice acting, animations, and top notch gameplay really fun. After 9mm I can't wait to see Gameloft new engine in 2012 unless 9mm is a part of that engine.

O&C is old news. 9mm just came out a couple days ago.
well i bought 9mm and i will say that game is amazing. the graphics are great and the gameplay is phenomenal. i would reccommend. and its not old news, at least 9mm came out today. give it a try!

9mm is not even a game that should even be playable on a phone, it's so ridiculously amazing in all departments.
I could see myself easily buying it for my 360, had I not known it was made to run on a telephone.
(Why in the world anyone would call this game "old news" is absolutely beyond me.)

I've got a ton of games and Apps that I have collected since day one of the DInc coming out and as most of us have seen as we go from device to device, the apps and games don't always come with us and occassionally we have access to a lot more. With the Rezound it seems like we have access to a lot less and that's why I'm starting this thread. If there's another one out there, please feel free to remove this one.

That's pretty funny! I've avoided every verizon game because they continued to bill me monthly for the golf game. Hope that's not the case here......

I've got many games running on my Rezound. And its nice that Gameloft seems to be updating more and more games to work on a bigger array of devices.
Right now I'm able to play: Backstab HD, Dead Space, Modern Combat 3, Grand Theft Auto 3, ShadowGun, Captain America, Raging Thunder, Shine Runner, and Trial X2. There more games, including Gameloft games, that will run on the Rezound.
Asphalt 5 will download and install, but once you start downloading the additional content it will always stop at about 30% and not go any further. This is a problem with all devices, and not just the Rezound. And it WILL be outside of the refund period, if just barely.
Hope this helps, can't wait to hear what other games/apps people have working on their phones :-D

I tried searching for Real Racing 2 when I was in the Google store on my Rezound and it will not come up. Does that mean it is not compatible? BTW, I'm not rooted.
Someone loaded an apk file elsewhere to grab it from but I assume it doesn't matter if the game is not compatible with the Rezound.

It runs really well actually. And if you have a Bluetooth keyboard you can use the same cheats you do on the PC.

heh, thats why i modded that file on my rooted inc during the sale to make it think it was a galaxy II, and then bought it for 49 cents ;D

I like many of you love to play games when there's time to. But as I'm searching the Market (not calling it the Play Store) I find myself passing on games that although look good, I am deterred by the fact it requires in game purchases to fully enjoy the experience.
Now... I am by no means a skimper. I buy all full versions of every app on my phones. I would rather pay $20 (or whatever) up front and enjoy my experience without interruption. Am I selling myself short and missing out by not "playing and paying" or is my idea of paying a full up front fee valid? Set me straight guys/gals.....

I played Order & Chaos on iPhone and Android when my android phone did support it. Well worth paying for.

Madman is right that is the way games are now. I only play one game that I actually make in app purchases, other than that I generally stay away from games that require in app purchases to actually make the game enjoyable. If you look hard enough though you can find some games that have the option for in app purchases but the game is still enjoyable without them.

Thanks VB. My biggest worry is that a $1 here a $1 there ads up to more than its worth for a game that may only take 30 minutes to finish. But you're right. I'm going to have to jump in and find out.

The game i spend on is Haypi Kingdom. There is no way to win the game so I dont have to worry about being nickle and dimed then the game is over. Thats the reason that i actually spend on it. I worry about the same thing when im looking for games because like you i dont wanna make in app purchases then the game be over.

Most free games are the ones that nickle and dime you to play....for instance pocket legends requires platinum for ingame purchases which requires real currency to get. .stuiped I know....most games that are more money upfront are the ones that are complete opposite .... some games I like are rpg... pocket legends/ pocket empires....things like that....I'm still searching for a good game for this note.

This thread had me excited about this game until I found out its a micro transaction game.
Not what I expected
I saw the game being played on the Ipad and trust me guys, it's a nice game with great graphics, but it really is arcadey with a "story" that you won't pay attention to really. This will be great to play on the train ride to and from work, school etc..but it's not as great as we hopes it will be...but the graphics shows whats to come from the developer. Definitely worth no more than $.99-$2.00

Haters gonna hate
I played it on a first gen iPad and it was sick. Sadly instead of pricing it at 5 or 6 dollars they priced it at 1 dollar and added all these in app purchases. So basically the good guns cost a small amount of real money but then a crazy amount of in game money. Who supports these freemiums and payiums you end up paying more in the end.

Everyone I know, and everyone I see comment on the in-app purchases, hates it. If no one likes this game model, who is supporting them and why are all the new games doing it?!
I thought it was cool when I first experienced it when it was a new idea ( Gun Bros) but now I cannot stand it. Then they make it so expensive:silly:
I guess they figure they can sucker people in... the game only costs $1?! But then as you get into it more and more, you buy one little thing, then you might as well spend this to get that, so on and so on....idk.
I'm not a big gamer, especially buying games on launch day, but I actually went to the Play Store after work today to buy DT, and came here for info when it didn't show up. Oh well.

I've a bad feeling that the freemium model is going to kill mobile gaming for me. I won't pay for progress on principle, but then the game's tedious as you try to get upgrades the long way. The developers deliberately make it tedious to encourage you to give them more money.
