Hi Friends i have noticed that my SK17 A.K.A Mini pro acts weirdly from the day of purchase.
Even when i lock my screen by pressing power button,I see the LCB lighting up and showing me the lock screen and again turning off.
This happens frequently with few seconds or few min gap.
I suspect this would drain battery than usual.Please help me fix it.
visit the best Sony service center in your city, they'll be able to tell you something substantial.. or get you a replacement.
Just reinstall/repair software with Sony PC companion, worked with me!

Dont worry, it's the firmware version, change it and stay resolved.

well iam posting this and i hope someone can help me out ....
2 days ago ive flashed my sgs 2 with the sensation rom 3.0 and well from the thread there i read that i have to flash the CF root kernel to the phone to get the rom working ... and thats what i did exactly , after flashing the rom worked and it was really pretty rom i liked it alot , however after flashing i noticed that its not easy to turn the phone screen on after locking it !!
i was busy that time and didnt do anything about it !
sadly after 15 to 20 min i wanted to make a call and at that moment the screen didnt want to fire at all !
i took the battery off and powered the phone again ... and i was shocked when i heared the notification of new email with nothing at all on my screen !
i thought it should be bad kernel for my model
so i downloaded the original firmware and odin was running again and all the that
but nothing !!! when the phone restarted after the flashing is done i heared the boot sound of it with still nothing on my screen !!!
send it today to samsung and after checking they told me your lcd is good .. the problem is the board ...................................!
can anyone suggest me anything ??
the phone is working i tried calling it and it rings , the buttons are working , the touch is working i can hear sound when touching the screen !
what can be the problem ?

Let me get this straight. You took it to Samsung who told you the answer. You posted the answer here, then asked XDA members to read it back to you?

yes they told me the problem is the board , what iam asking here is if anyone in xda know what happen to the board that allow it perform all the os tasks except the screen ... is it the lcd filters ?? coz few minutes ago it came to my mind !
should i lose hope with this phone or try to fix it ?

Hi my friend. I am assuming that you mean the touch issue where to menu keeps randomly flashing up and making the phone pretty much unusable?! if so,i had the same thing happen to my st15i.
the best thing to do is if you are still under warranty, take the phone back and they will sort it for you. What they will do is factory reset AND re- calibrate the touch screen.
Its to do with the device heating up, a well known problem. If you cant take it back to be fixed then let me know and i will point you in the direction of a guide to re- calibrate the touch screen yourself. I havent tried this myself as i had took mine in for repair,but it looks reasonably straight forward. No promises that it will work if you try do it yourself though

plug the phone in a chrger.. even though its no led.. 3 hours. then flash a stock kernel using a flashtool. i repeat just the kernel. then chatge again. u will see it charging in kernel mode. adter a full charge flash a stock rom. thats it. hope it helps.. any kernel is good. but make sure its for ur device..

Hi again team mates! still nothing happens. and my phone is not vibrating at all its just red/orange light that display then after maybe 30min-1H of wall charging the red/orange light is out. and still not responding to Force On Button = Power+Volume UP BTN & also it cannot enter in FastBoot. what other fix to this matter? Anyway thanks for the replies. thank you.

Did you have any vibration when Power + Vol Up??

Hold power key + Vol up for 30 seconds.. phone will vibrate 3 times..
then connect to flash tool nd flash valid kernel
Same as the people says here, you should flash a new kernel for your sola...the reason why your phone wont boot because the kernel is corrupted or invalid.....so you need to flash a kernel the only problem is that you need to charge your phone first.....

You need a way to charge your battery externally, which is i don't know how......Sorry for that.......and yes if only you would know its polarity it could work.....:

yah, thats what im thinking. :l, i charge this phone almost 16-20H but still no luck, no vibration.

You can bring it to the nearest Sony centre but they will charge you for that.....

try to remove everything simcard / SD card
try use another charger...
My friend using This X Sola got the same problem It won't charger / on / goes blackkkkk
he try that step and it work

yes , thanks for that. but i already done an experimentation on the battery , but still no luck . I charge it almost 1H and 30min. because i found the polarity of the battery of xperia sola. ^ ^ the battery has a legend in the bottom of the wire. , so after that when i connect the original charger there is no light at all even the steady red meaning it's not in drain battery but still no vibration nothing happens. Maybe i will try and wait for 24H to reset/clear the bad memory of xperia sola. right?. hopefully. :crying: , please post other fix that i may try. please.
If you continue ,you might destroy the battery also......so better bring it to Sony centre........(but its still your decision)

I have had this issue using Energy and ARHD. Tried different batteries and kernels, new batteries helped a bit. Tried several clean installs without resolution. Please let me know if you found a solution.
