As you can see I don't seem to have this '.android_secure.vfat.tar' file present. Do I simply edit the md5 file and remove the 5th line or do I somehow come up with this file. I really need to recover this backup but CWM won't allow me and keep giving me md5 mismatch.
Thanks

ah well all one could do is to extract that zip to get the apk. no need to make another thread to just upload the apk. you could have uploaded it in the already present thread made by devstaff
was i rude? then i am sorry. i am just being resonable because the number of useless threads in this forum has escalated recently
I have reported this thread now, no need for reposting stuff, also user's could extract the apk file from my zip if they want to use it that way.
OP please search before opening/creating a new thread, this topic is already in place. Thanks.
Hi guys,
I believe that a PAC nightly screwed up my modem. Is there anyone who can tell me where I can find a flashable modem file so that I can try to replace it and see if that is why my Wi-fi isn't working any more?
Thanks
Luca

After that close winrar and copy file to flashtool/firmwares folder.

WHAT IS THE USE OF .pit FILE?
.pit FILE IS USED TO DIRECT THE PARTITION OF THE WHOLE ANDROID SYSTEM..JUST LIKE WE ARE DOING GRUB IN PC...HERE ALSO WE NEED TO PARTITION THE SYSTEM FOR FLASHING THE FIRMWARE PROPERLY.. AND HERE THE .PIT IS USED
1. Get your phone into download mode..
2. connect to computer. Make sure that usb drivers installed and you have the firmware.tar file.
3. Now open odin 3.07
4. click on PIT and select i8552_DELOS_QUATTRO.pit
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
5. Make sure that partition is tick
6. click on PDA and select firmware.tar file
7. Now start button and wait...You are done

Flashing stock Rom Securely Nd Effectely !
somebody documented the table as well : http://forum.xda-developers.com/grand-quattro/development/info-win-grand-quattro-partition-t2792496
Hi,
I have a "HTC One M9" that had the main PCB damaged to the extent of being non repairable.
So, i desoldered the eMMC Nand & found the pinout's for the FBGA package, which i then adapted to an SD Card and managed to successfully dump the Nand using "DD" in Linux.
I then extracted the "data" partition as userdata.img using Testdisk (Around 24gb Size)
When i open the .img with a tool like "Linux Disk Reader" i can see all the folders with valid names but there is no data to be extracted (See attached screen capture).

I mainly need to recover the photo's on it in the "DCIM" Folder...
Is it possible that there is some sort of encryption going on, or is it more likely corrupted ???
Any advice would be greatly appreciated !
Cheers
Anyone ???

Yes, that would be the obvious thing to do...
Unfortunately if you were to actually read my post, there are no files in ANY of the folders.
Which is why i posted for advice here.
