Hi guys,
I've just installed a new launcher but have now lost the favourites app.
How can I access this now through a new launcher without having to clear defaults to get to the stock launcher?

What launcher did you install? If you install Nova (I think, could be Apex), you can create a shortcut to Activity, and in Activities you'll see Favorites, just select the one activity under 'Favorites' and it will open the Favorites app, exactly the same as if you used Sony launcher

I'm trying to share what I found so far, please share yours.
1. Create a shortcut to "hidden apps" (3D Gallery, Music app) on your Xperia X10.
a. Install ADW Launcher (the one I use)
b. Create a custom shortcut and click Pick your Activity button
c. Choose ADW Activity. It will show what activities available inside your phone.
d. Choose Gallery to make a 3D gallery or Music to make Music app shortcut.
2. Create a multi home launcher.
a. Install ADW Launcher (the one I use)
b. Make it default launcher
c. Create a custom shortcut and click Pick your Activity button
c. Choose ADW Activity. It will show what activities available inside your phone.
d. Choose your other launcher from here (Home, Launcher Pro,etc).
e. There you got multi launcher.
Or just use Home Switcher

Hi,
Try a launcher like ADW Launcher, Zeam, or Launcher Pro. You can change name of shortcuts, apps, folders, whatever through homescreen launcher (not the default one / ROM built-in launcher). Just long press on your home screen or go to menu and choose add, then you select shortcuts. You may choose any kind of shortcuts from there. Afterthat you can long press on the shortcut to change any action, name, or icon.
I use ADWLauncherEX daily. You can try the free one or other launchers. Find them in the market.

i have install the ADWLauncherEx.
if i use ADWLauncher, i can't use SPB mobile shell.
so i think i need to change the application name.

Quick question, I downloaded ADW EX and while messing with it I selected Home as the default launcher. I've gone to Manage Applications to clear the default but I don't see the "home" application (OK I'm a noob). How do I clear the home launcher default? I'm really liking ADW and want to use it as default.

hi, i have installed apps and games on my phone, the problem i am facing is that there are many icons on the menu. What i want to do is to create a folder in the menu and move some selective icons from it and paste it into the folder. Is there any app to do this.

Search for circlelauncher in android market.
Edit: if you want you may wanna try switching to golauncher ex which supports folders in app drawer.

Gotto agree that you should use Go launcher ex, the 2nd choice would be adw (from what ive read, never acutally used it).
I tried out a launcher or drawer recently, but can't seem to find it now. It's not Go Launcher nor TouchWiz, but similar in that it allows the creation of folders in the drawer. When selecting apps to add to a folder, I had to edit the folder and tick the apps I wanted. I could even set the transparency of the drawer, if I recall correctly.
I've searched through the android>apps and Samsung Galaxy S2>apps threads but still can't find it. Does anyone know?

It's neither! I mentioned about creating folders in the drawer, and adding items by ticking (selecting) from a list.
GO Launcher EX? I think you can create folders/groups in the drawer.

Has anyone encountered the launcher or drawer which I described above? I've pretty sure I used it, just can't recall what it is at all!
It's not:
LauncherPro, GoLauncher, ADW, Zeam, AltDrawer...
Only one I can think of is Balancer Launcher
