I have a problem the Rooms are above version 2.3.6.
When I finish the installation I can not lock the screen will not go into sleep mode and lock.
the Rooms based Google everything is correct.

What ROM / kernel version do you have?
Check Settings > Display > Lock Screen, Display Timeout, and Settings > Security > Screen lock, Auto lock (or something similar in your ROM version).
And you will have to unplug your phone from charger.
Charging will prevent the phone from going into deep sleep.
If the screen lock does not work, you may have to flash the ROM again to your phone.

I recently updated to the XWKI8 stock firmware and now the screen fails to time out I have tried setting the time out to 15s/30s/1 min but the screen never switches off.
Is this a know issue? Is there any work around? I am getting fantastic battery time gains by upgrading from 2.3.3 but all is lost the moment the screen gets turned on due to an incoming message (when the phone is in my pocket) and then never gets turned off)

1) Tried normal reboot since flash?
2) Updated via Kies? So maybe you try to reflash it but then you have to do it via Odin (Kies just see that it's the actually one)

Please try the following - if not already done:
1. Wipe cache partition in recovery mode (Volume UP + Home + Power).
2. If you have CWM then also clear Dalvik cache (for Java VM).
If that does not help either, you may have to make a hard reset (*2767*3855#).
As this will wipe internal SD card, be sure to have everything in a backup elsewhere.
EDIT:
Here is another guess to try before.
There are two different places where you can set the screen off time.
The one you found is (I am sure) in Menu => Settings => Display => Screen timeout.
The other one is in Menu => Locations and Security => Timeout.
Maybe there is an other value set on your phone.
Try to change this setting before wiping everything.

Resolved!
A combination of the above two suggestions resolved the problem. Tried setting and unsetting security options and rebooting. It seems to be working now.

My phone does not go into lock screen mode any more! Can anyone help me with this?
I tried setting changing the modes to face recognition, pin number etc., but it still doesn't go into the lock screen mode!

I had this issue yesterday, I think. Try reflashing your ROM without a wipe. That fixed it for me.

Also, the Android keyboard is acting weird and there is no auto correct working anymore! I tried changing the settings to very aggressive, it is substituting my address book names instead of words!
What do you think I can do about that?

No with that little information only you can help yourself by getting more into android for s2. Are you still on stock or do you have your device rooted (for a start)?

i already root my phone...so now what can i do to settle my problem?
Go to Settings -> WiFi -> Advanced (from options menu) , and make sure you have "Always" selected under "Keep Wi-Fi on during sleep"

my setting is "Always"..but still wifi turn off after lock screen.
Does it turn on back again after unlock, or it remains off?

yeah,,turn back on if i unlock screen...but i want my wifi always on....what heppen?
i need help on my phone please. when i turn on my phone, the wifi in setting always indicates wifi turning on even if i did not tick it and when i activate the screen lock my phone never unlock unless i remove the battery ang turn it on again. the wifi icon was always indicate that my wifi is on but when i checl it on setting it says wifi turning on please help and sorry for my english

Firstly take a backup of all your messages,contacts and apps and do a factory reset.
If the problem Persists Do a system wipe by Entering the recovery And then flash the stock rom.
Take a backup of your rom before you do so.
Since last week my display acting weirdly. Currently on eXistenZ Premium | 6.0.0 | 30/11 LB
After few seconds of use screen goes black (but back light still on) but runs in background & when screen off manually (by double tapping or power button) then on manually (by double tapping or power button) lockscreen appears normal & then can unlock & work normally for some times till the same thing happened. Some times even boot screen face the same problem but after turning screen off & on allow the phone to work for few mins till the problem starts again.
I've tried stock ROMs, custom ROMs, in Unlocked & Locked bootloaders but the problem exists. I wondered if it is a heat related problem as I can work for a longer period if I keep phone switch off for some time.
Please help to solve this...!!! I'm really depressed.! :crying::crying::crying:
Hi,
I have been using Ex Roms for a while now and not experienced this. ( Currently using 6.0 prem )
I will recommend i clean/fresh install. I.E
Flash latest .264 FTF ... with wipe selected.
Flash Adroplus Kernel in Fastboot & Flash Rom.
My current method ... trust this helps.
