If the charger have a USB port, then you're good to go, but just make shure the output voltage is around 3.7~5V DC (Altough I think that every phone in the world uses that voltage )
yeah, but se charger has 850mA and iphone charger has 1Amp.. is that ok?

Was looking on Amazon for a micro usb adapter for my p5113 and could only find standard usb adapters. I want a micro adapter so I don't have to carry a separate cord around to charge this tablet and just use the same cord my phone uses. What was Samsung thinking going the Apple route with a unique plug?

I use this:

with my P3113 and it works well.

How well does it charge using a normal 1A phone charger?
Or do you use the 2A tablet charger to plug in your phone?

You are not going to be able to charge this things will a micro usb, it won;t recognize whatever you have connected as a charger.

I have used this adapter and a retractable micro-USB cable with the following to successfully charge my tablet (Samsung Galaxy 2 7"):
the charger that came with my tablet - I leave this one plugged in @ home
http://www.jr.com/scosche/pe/SCE_USBH3/ - wall charger I carry with me in my bag. Dual ports, can charge the Galaxy and an iPhone simultaneously, prongs flip down flush.
http://dx.com/p/genuine-griffin-car...charger-for-ipad-iphone-black-dc-12-24v-72687 - car charger I carry with me in my bag
http://www.jr.com/scosche/pe/SCE_IPDBAT2/ - USB battery I carry with me in my bag. Comes with an adapter for the Samsung Galaxy, but I haven't needed to use it with this battery. However, that adapter makes a different 2A battery that I have work to charge the Galaxy where it won't charge it without the adapter.

i am using a 'Sony xperia x10i' charger with my S2 and there is no problem as such for now
So IMO it doesn't make much of a diff with S1 and s2 chargers for now as long as they are micro usb for u
can anyone please tell charger specifications of s1 and s2
Google.

I use the same micro USB charger for many different devices both at home and at work. The handset (kernel) is what determines the load that it pulls and as long as the charger can deliver it no harm is done* (to the charger). I have yet to find a handset, even through custom kernels, that can draw more then the charger can supply (assuming charger is in the wall and not connected to a computers USB port).
* If you are playing with the charging current on a kernel then you can damage / explode batteries and burn out main boards on handsets.
I will purchase the Taiwan version tomorrow and plug the charger is not compatible with the Brazilian made, then I wonder if I can use the charger of Xperia Z or Z1 to charge the Xperia Z2!

Well, standard charger has an output of 1.5amps so any charger that outputs the same will be no problem.
For reference however I have also used 1amp chargers (original charger for my HTC One X and built in charger from my PC's power supply unit) as well as a 2amp fast charger (from a 12v car adapter).
Just make sure that the charger outputs 5 volts and between 0.5 to 2 amps and you'll be fine (0.5 amps is the amperage of standard USB on a computer).

Yes! In relation to micro usb input I know, my question was regarding the voltage / amperage!

Oh! Great!
Tks for de info!!!
My stock charger says it is 2.0A .
I have a third party car charger with two usb ports: 1.0A and the other is 2.1A
Would it be unsafe to charge with the 2.1A port?

You coul use 2.1 A port. Look on your original plug charger. It is 2 A.
Yep, so doesnt that mean that 2.1A is too much?

0.1 A you could say that is the fluctuation of accumulator current. I say that is safe.

I uh didnt really understand that but are you saying that .1 doesnt matter?
