Atrix 4G SBF flash - Atrix 4G Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi
If i flashed the stock AT&T 2.3.6 sbf to a AT&T phone, i know after flash the 2.3.4 android, with RSD, or it is dangerous, and i brick the phone?
I know, that i dont know flash the stock 2.2 if i updated to gingerbread, but i like only 2.3.4 flash, not 2.2.
Thank you

dont do it, the bootloader will fail and youll have a hardbrick, if you want to flash 2.3.4 do it after unlocking bootloader and than using moto-fastboot to flash the imgs

Don't downgrade versions.

[Q] How do I go back to stock?

I am new to all of this and was wondering how I go back to stock after I have rooted and installed a custom ROM? I have seen things thrown around like sbf and rsd but have no idea what those mean. Can someone help me? I just want to go back to stock and update to 1.8.3 and then decide if I want to install a custom ROM later.

follow this guide on how to flash SBF to motorola atrix 4G. it will put your phone back to stock. dont flash back to 1.26 or 1.52. unless u want to have old firmware. start with 1.5.7 and then 1.8.3
download the 1.5.7 SBF from here.
http://gitbrew.org/atrix/
make sure to extract it.
once you have 1.5.7 on your phone. update to 1.8.3 via OTA and your set. if u have any more questions pm me..
One question.
Currently I have 1.57 deodexed version in my Atrix, so can I just install this one :
1.8.3 Deodex CWM http://gititbit.ch/D183

Thank you, but I want to know if its possible to do that.
I read the thread but nobody say nothing about my question.
Tanks
Can't say yes or no about 2.3.6.......I can say 100% yes to 2.3.4 with the 4.5.91 sbf flashed over an unlocked boot loader. No brick no worries there. Unlocked boot loader with neutrino rom took sbf flash from rsd lite without a hitch. I know that if you had 4.5.91 and try to flash anything lower you will hard brick and I know you can flash an sbf over an unlocked boot loader. Hope this helps

Ok, Now that I'm S-Off, i want a Gingerbread rom. Currently ICS Stock Rooted, with unlocked bootloader.... My question is..... Since i'm S-Off, can i just find a Gingerbread Rom and flash it, or do i need to flash Stock GB Rom first, then Root, then flash Rom??? What would be my steps?

Not sure for 100% if that would perfectly work for the downgrade - but you might want to backup first and then to give it a try:

Have fun!
You don't wanna go back to Unrooted Stock Rom,no?Then all you have to do is,flash ROMs whatever you want to..Does't matter GB or IC.
Iirc to flash ruu you must lock bootloader
why for goodness sake would you want to go back to gb?
Sig:
What do you mean I can't say that??!!.. It's the fkin Internet!
ICS pains?....since you are s-off you can do whatever. Backup, download GB Rom, Speedrom 1.4, Quicksense or Bulletproof 2.5 (if you could find it) or Kumar's simple Roms. Do a complete wipe and then flash through recovery. I recommend 4Ext. Good luck.

You can't use bootstrap to flash roms for unlocked bootloaders like the one you flashed. You might have to follow this thread to get it working again http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1849526
Thank sir my photon detail as per i know

did you do fastboot oem unlock before flashing that?
I used RSD lite 5.7 and sbf file of 2.3.6 Movistar America and flashed my Atrix 4g.
And got my Atrix back in work.
Now where I can get sbf file of ICS or Jellybean so that I can flash again and upgrade my Atrix.
I know that Motorola has not provided official update but still I want to take chance.
Previously I have installed CM7 and CM10.1 but I didn't like it and also the phone is rebooting constantly.

Congrats! Now you are on the most up to date sbf. There is no ICS or JB sbf file. There is, however, an unofficial official ICS release (AtrICS v2.0), CM9 (4.0.4), CM10 (4.1.2), and CM10.1 (4.2.2) ROMs available to flash via CWM.

Atrix 4G and Atrix 2 are not compatible. Some of their theme packages from the themes section may be compatible, but as far as ROMs go, its a no
