Hello! I'm a proud user of a Sony Ericsson Live with Walkman and it's currently running on Hybrom v17 and Rage Kernel, but it's still signed as Android 2.3.4. I searched on the internet and it seems that people from my country, with the same phone model and operator are getting the official update... But I still don't have it in my PC Companion... Do I have to return to the stock version of Gingerbread to get the update? If so, do I have to change the kernel back to stock too? If that's possible, I'd like someone to post me a link for stock GB plus kernel if it's not a problem big thanks in advance!

m using gigglebread 2.3.3 and m using de arc homescreen
flash it using xrecovery. i believe that should work with no error.

thanks for the help but i can't read swedish - my friend does
if google translate is right is this nordic rom stable? I mean without a lot of bugs? I prefer stock rom because i'm worried if there are constant minor problems with a custom rom he will keep harassing me. haha, silly, but kinda true from my past experience.
Okay sorry yeah it's the official software but it's for the people who can't update via pc companion. You lose the ability to update with pcc if you have unlocked the boatloader. But yes it's completely stable!
Edit: forgot to mention that it's not the st15 firmware but the sk15 firmware you will need, it's also in the same sub-forum.

Is there anyone who can upload the official ICS release from Sony from april 23rd?
They have released it in several countries for Neo V, Arc S & Ray.
The only ftf I can find is for Xperia Ray, it would be great if I could have it for Arc S & Neo

It's the same old fw from Nordic ICS. He's having placebo effect lol Flashed clean ftf compared to fw+apps which he had before flashing
download india .ftf and compare files from system.
I changed the build.prop and I did it through PCC, so don't know how to share it :S

What's stoping you from using one for MT11i?
I already tried change the build manually…flash the build zip…and all the time PCC says I have last fw. Seems I have to wait for official fw for NEO.
I have unlocked bt.
Just a question: for those that already have the ICS roms made by devs will we find any big difference?

Maybe the offical ROM for MT15 will be more compatible and stable

I want to upgrade to official ics from sony.
Can i update it with PCC????
I read that upgrading with Pcc can brick my phone cos my phone has been rooted. Is that true ???

Hi, you are absolutely able to upgrade by PCC, even your phone is rooted. it also won't make your phone brick.
but if your phone is unlockbootloader through Sony official methode, it will brick your phone.
updating via pcc nor seus makes your root status break. so you must re-root after upgrading.

just connect your phone to pcc and you will see if 4.0.4 is out for your phone and update if it is, you wont brick your phone but you have to root phone again

By the way...
Is the rom just for indonesia country or not?
I dont understand about this SI number..

Don't think so .just backup ur original SI and replace it anyone.after update you can restore the original SI.
