Wrong forum this is not SGH I747 forum .

Okay I rooted the phone, now what?
You seem to have ignored JJEgan's post. This is the forum for a totally different forum.
Please either use the general section of XDA or your phone-specific section.
You can use ES File Explorer to replace the audio files in /system/media/audio and especially the /ui/ subfolder.
The features to access and edit the corresponding part of the filesystem are found in ES Explorer's Option menu.

I believe that ringtones can be found at /system/media/audio/ringtones. It should be in there.
Yup, thanks, root explorer search isn't the best one :/

Try ES File Explorer - free, and search has worked great for me (well, everything has )
Super Manager works great, and its FREE.
I may try those but I love the simplicity of root explorer lol maybe too simple

How can one change or remove the "Verizon Wireless" text at the bottom of the notifications pull down screen? I have searched around and found some methods that are either included in a ROM or applicable to other devices. Probably not too relevant but I am S-off, rooted and running the supercharged hatka ROM. Thanks in advance.

Thanks guys, s-off, root and root explorer are no problem. I have seen references for Nexus to use this method which identifies changing spn-conf.xml file located in system/etc. This does not work on the DNA. Thanks in advance for any additional tips!

Don't forget to set the right permissions. Long-press on the file after you've moved it to /system/app and set the permissions to rw-r-r (644) and reboot.
Depending on the file explorer you're using, you can usually change the permissions by tapping "properties".

Apk is apk. Think about the google play store, play store don't check deodexed or odex.
When changing permissions also change owner. Possible that it's still on sdcard. Also did you mount data as r/w?
Maybe there is a line of code wich only allows install on xperia rom.
You can also try to add it to /data/app and see if that does it.
