They where there last night, now all gone. Ive synched it countless times, but they just dont show up. Anyone else?
I had the same problem. One night they were all there in the stock browser, the next time I looked they had vanished.
I ended up installing Chrome and using that as my default browser instead. My bookmarks showed up there and it seems to be a better browser anyways.
i bet if you look you will see you are losing your bookmarks on all chrome browers. This was a bug that started last week. Do not open and close your browser! Leave it open or go to a machine that you have not opened or closed the browser on. You need to lok for a bookmarks.bak, Follow these instructions. Good luck.

My market front page, the little circles with a right pointing arrow seems to be missing be all catagories except one, so I can't view app categories properly.
I'll attch a pic so can see what I mean. Anyone else had this problem, perhaps something to do with flashing roms?
I have the same problem, got after I cleared market data. Let me know if you fond a way to get them back!
Same here...
I did a factory reset but i still have the same problem
same to me, kinda strange...
same here, got it after installing starburst rom
Clear all data in the app, then remove your google account, then add your google account back under account/sync.
I had a similiar problem yesterday with Movies not showing and that is how it was fixed.

I´ve tried to solve it few times. But take no effects to me.
I didn't even notice it until now, but yes, my Market has the same issues. There are only two categories that work for me. I don't remember exactly which ones, but they're both the "top something" (top free, top paid, etc) type categories.
can anyone reproduce that?
thx in advance
Hmmm. Odd. I've had it happen twice (I did a reformat in between fixes so it came back), both times the method above fixed it.
The first time just movies was missing, the second it was movies and books. Both times fixed.
Same thing happened to me i called googles android market department and they said its a issue that is happening with the market and they are working on getting it fixed :-/
The movies section disappeared once i installed starburst. Last night when I went into the market, it asked me to accept the T&C and the movies tab was back. Seems like a server side issue to me.
So I at first I downloaded Dolphin Mini and I liked it. After awhile I switched to the non-mini version because I wanted tl try it. But ever since then, every time I open either of them, my browser resets everything. And every time I open them, it starts the browser at the setup page that most browsers have when you first open them. I've tried uninstalling both and keeping one only, but still, every time it opens, all of my saved preferences are gone. Im stuck using the stock app which I dont enjoy!
This problem is also happening for me with Boat Mini and Boat full version. Skyfire too. I've tried deleting related folders via. ASTRO and always wiping data/uninstalling through Titanium back up but I have no luck. Anyone know how to fix this?
via. my Vibrant!

My wife gave me a White Galaxy S II international version from Amazon.com for Christmas.
I first noticed this with the stock internet browser.
I am having a little problem with the podcasts section on Engadget.com. As soon as the page is near or finishes loading, the browser crashes and I'm returned to the launcher.
If I am quick enough to long press on the .MP3 link to download the podcast it crashes without the save prompt showing up and the download isn't started.
I downloaded Dolphin Browser HD and I get the same results. This is the browser I used on my Inspire 4G with no problems.
This is viewing the desktop version of Engadget.com, also with either Android or Desktop as the user agent.
I don't have trouble loading pages on other sites.
Does anyone know why this is happening?
Just tried it myself and it worked fine. Are you trying the "save link" option? You could try "download all files" application from market. I've got it installed because I've had a problem in the past.
DoubleTwist
Try downloading the app doubletwist you don't need to sync it to your computer or use air sync all you need to do them is download the item again
Hope this helps
Not to be rude but I'm looking for a solution, not a workaround.
I could just stream it from the website or the Engadget app, but I want to download the podcast from the page as I'm reading Engadget posts without starting up another app to do something I could do easily on a much simpler and lower quality phone. The building at my work tends to kill wifi and cell signals so I need to download the podcasts to listen to them.
I did have cyanogen installed on my Inspire. I wanted to see if I could use this phone without ROMs.
Thanks anyway.
download all files from market , the stock browser doesnt download all file extensions mate , that could be the reason
dolphin browser is quite useless to download files...the best one to download files are the opera mobile. i used that to download basically everything....try it...

Like I said "download all files"
Just install it then use the stock browser to download the pod cast
The stock browser and dolphin can download mp3s from other sites. My Inspire 4G running cyanogen could do it, too.
Apparently there is some code on the Engadget page that my phone doesn't like.
The browser crashes as soon as the page either finishes loading or right before it finishes. It had nothing to do with downloads.
Edit: I installed Opera Mobile as recommended above by kruznix and the page loads properly.
I'm still curious if anyone knows why this is happening.
Hey everyone.
Im looking for an app that allows to save web pages for offline reading. I found Pocket, which has this function, but it seems to work sometimes and others it doesnt. Sometimes I open a downloaded web page when Im at bed to read it and it doesnt show up, maybe because it didnt download it correctly. Other times it seems it needs an internet connection to open the web page in web view.
I never use the article view. I always prefer the exact same web view.
Also I would need this app to have some sort of backup method, so I dont have to redownload all my web pages over and over again whenever I try a new ROM.
Any advice?
Thanks.

The Ocean browser in the Play store can save Web pages for reading offline.
Its not an app but there's a site called offliberty that can save a page for offline viewing through your browser. Never tried on a phone/tablet so idk if it'll work.
Stock AOSP Browser allows this.
Pocket (formerly ReadItLater)
Sent from my Nexus 10 using xda premium
I have used "web to pdf" to save a bunch of diy's from a car website. It works really well.

I've rooted my G3 and have had issues with pages not displaying in full site views @ all (e.g. Accuweather) or incorrectly (e.g. Google Play) for some time now. I get "Server Error...Connection refused...Error 500" when trying to display pages in full site views in Chrome and Dolphin browsers. Other sites, like Google Play display incorrectly/wonky in full site and mobile views, meaning almost in a pure text view, no page search bar, etc. Also, I've noticed when going to the Weather Channel site, the page language displays English and Chinese/Japanese = odd. I've done a factory reset and still have this issue. I know this wasn't a problem before but I don't know if the rooting or use of of post root apps have done the damage. Right now, all I have are some basic rooted apps - ES File Manager, Cerberus, AdBlock Plus, SuperSU Pro, Titanium Pro, Webkey, Widgetroid, and Tasker. I've searched for answers and even went to LG for help, but nothing is resolving this issue. I'm @ a loss of what to do...anyone help, please?
What browser? I've had weirdness with the AOSP browser(s), never used Dolphin, Firefox, etc.
Chrome, both stable release and beta, work fine, altho I generally do not prefer full site view. If Chrome, perhaps try deleting Data then completely uninstall via Root Explorer / ES File Mgr by deleting the .apk in System/Apps, reboot, and download Chrome from Play Store.
It's the default browser with the phone, which is Chrome. I've tried Dolphin to see if it was Chrome and the same issues show up. It's odd that these problems didn't pop up until recently. I first noticed it when I tried to go from the Accuweather app to a detailed forecast via the app and noticed the full version webpage would not show. The more I looked into the issue, the more sites I noticed similar problems along with the newer issues mentioned.
Will the uninstall/reinstall create any issues since it's the default browser of the phone? I don't know if other parts of the ROM will falter when I try that fix.

Have you tried disabling the ad blocking? I have had problems (on a previous device) like this with certain ad blockers in place.
