hey buddy thanks for yr help but its an american website..can u suggest me a one in uk/thanks..
I've bought a screen from them. They sent it pretty quickly (complete with instructions -with pics- on how to change it) Though like they say you shouldn't do it if you're faint-hearted.
I couldn't find anyone doing the same in the UK and I searched a looong time.
Good luck

[Q] scratches in the display

a got a few smalll not very deep scratches on my display. anyone got an idea how to get them away?
things i know.
so magic polish stuff are bad for touch screens ans
my toothpaste didnt work
so any more ideas?
thx
that makes two of us!
I use a lint free lcd cleaning cloth. Doesn't get rid of the scratches but makes them hardly visible
I use zelofan... Eeermmm... I don't know if it is called like this in English, but is the thing which is trasparent and mum uses it to cover sandwiches... xD
I put that thing on my screen as screen protector and after a few days it can no longer hold on the screen, so I remove it and the screen is like brand new, like the day I unpacked my beloved phone! Try it! ;-)

New phone after x10

Hi friends,
I just love my x10.
But it seems my perticular x10 has motherboard problem.it keeps restarting if there is sim card inserted. Service center refused service as my x10 is from outside india.
But i m interested in either arc or neo. But not sure what i should do..
Or should replace x10 with x10.
Any thoughts...
Specially from current arc and neo users...

I have heard but I dont own one, but the arc is a better pick over the neo.
But if you want even a better phone. Go for the Samsung galaxy S 2. That phone has gotten reviews as the one of or the best smartphone to date. When I get to a computer, I will give u a review link. Hope this helps.

The phone is unlocked by the way.

I believe sgs2 is the greatest mobile on planet as of now. But i like sony phones and their design more.
Arc is better looking than neo.
Arc has beutiful design.bigger screen hence better usability.
Neo has smaller screen but better battery life.
Front camera does not interest me tht much.
If only arc had 1650mAh battery like the mighty sgs2...

Mine also got a motherboard issue so I bought an Atrix =] All better except for camera (for pics because for video Atrix is better).

I'm hoping for something with 2 maybe even 4 CPU's..
Tegra 2 or Tegra 3.
sgs2 hands down, I've tried it at a store once, it's so smooth. Not for people with small hands though.

Nvidia has already come up with quadcore chip for mobile.
I know sgs2 is better than arc by all respect but one...looks.
How beautiful a mobile can be..

If only my x10 was without motherboard problem. I'm kinda miss my x10. :/
I have decided to go with arc. All thanks to the beautiful design.
But x10 fits in your hand so effortlessly.
Arc has great camera. I better not lose my focus. Else i would end up replacing x10 with x10

[Q] Wich phone is better?

A friend of mine is looking forward to buy a new phone and he is between the Xperia Play and Xperia U. His choices are the same has mine were when I bought Play last month. I know U has a better processor and screen quality but I wanted a cheap phone with a big screen and good for gaming. I'm very happy with my choice.
Which one his the best in your opinion?
Another related question: does the U have nfc, hdmi port and sd card support?
Why don't u ask google to answer your second question...

Yes, I have this problem and will surely return the phone... It's very annoying and I should put down the phone for 15min until it works again...
In fact, we bought two Mini's and both have the problem.
We are in Belgium

If you have root, you can run THIS script and everything'll be fine
Thanks for your answer!
Phones are not rooted and I don't intend to root them...
Will return them to the shop and get a new one. I hope this will solve the problem.
Screen lightly flashing is normal, light sensor is changing the brightness.
I don't understand what you mean with overcharged. Battery cannot be overcharged.

You are right... The phone cannot overcharge... but when it becomes warm the problems start...
The moment I use the phone for - let's say 10-15min - it becomes unresponsive. The screen pop-up menus start flashing (appear - disappear) and I just have to switch off the screen and wait 10-15min before I can use it again but not for long...
I haven't searched in any other forum but I read about a guy who had the same problem and he received a new Mini...
So as soon as we are back in Belgium I will change both our Mini's.

This isn't an overcharge problem, from what you've said anyway. If it was an overcharge/overheating problem it would show up as soon as you use the phone?
I had an old LG Chocolate. One of the first heat sensor touch button phones and that had the problem of when the phone got too hot (either sitting in the sun too long or on charge too long in a warm room) it would start jumping around the menus and all that, I couldn't work the phone without cooling the touch buttons down. It happened as soon as I unlocked the phone, sometimes i even think it was trying to do things even when it was locked.
So the fact that it happens 10-15min after stated using, leads me to believe it is something else. Does anyone else agree with me, or am I completely off base??
Cheers,
Evil.
Thank you all...
I think i better consider again to buy the phone....
