Reload a stock ruu.
Find the stock ruu for your carrier and restore your device to stock, you will have to relock the boot loader to do so if you're son.

Use hasoons tool to relock it, may take a few tries until it relocks, by the way, though s-off may fail on the first try, doesn't mean you should give up, just keep trying till you're successful, a paper clip works great and don't forget to check that the pin hole isn't blocked, use a sharp pin to clear it if it is.

When you restore a stock ruu you need to let the device fully boot at least once, therefore restore the stock again and let it boot into android before trying to mod it.

If you restore it to stock, even with a locked bootloader, it should boot into android just fine, you're not telling us something or you're doing something you shouldn't be.
I relock the bootloader flash ph85img.zip(OTA_RUBY_ICS_35_S_DAVE_CA_2.14.1800.6-1.45.1800.2_R_release_263099viknauioz1fkgotb.zip)with HBoot missing recovery boot

i unlock bootloader install 4ext ,restore with Mobilicity_ICS_signed.zip

Why are you using an OTA file? It won't work via Hboot. What carrier are you on and are you s-on or s-off?
If you are t mobile phone, s off and unlocked bootloader, download this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=28517406#post28517406
Then boot to recovery, wiped everything, data, dalvik, cache. Power off phone and removed sd card, put in computer and format card, not copy the zip over that you just downloaded and boot into recovery. Selet install from sd card and select the zip you just put on there. If this doesnt work, send me your phone and call it quits.

What recovery did you flash?
If its not 4EXT then you need to flash the kernel using fastboot.

The bootloader screen reads
*** Unlocked ***
Ruby PVT SHIP S-ON RL
HBOOT-1.90.0006
eMMC-boot
just get the stock RUU for your phone. Re-lock your bootloader. Rename what you downloaded to PH85IMG.zip. place it in the root directory of your external SD card. reboot your phone into HBOOT and it should automatically flash the stock recovery and ROM. this WILL wipe your phone clean. then you can unlock the bootloader, root it, flash a custom recovery then a ROM of your choice.

Unlocking the bootloader won't change your phone into s-off. So, what you see is correct.
Forget about ZergRush. It won't work, or necessary at all if you unlocked your bootloader, anyway.
Edit: I forgot to mention. Try 'adb logcat' to see if your phone even gets to the boot sequence. If you see your screen gets filled up with tons of stuff, hit control-c to stop it. Then enter adb logcat > logfile.txt to capture it. You can post it here for someone to take a look.
If you can get into bootloader and/or recovery, your phone isn't in a bad shape at all. If you can access your phone from a pc with adb or fastboot (which, you should have if you've unlocked your bootloader), there are things you can try.
1. boot your phone into recovery and see if you can access it through adb shell. Do you see a shell prompt ('$' or '#' sign)? On the phone, use the mount option to mount system and data partitions to see if they are mountable. You can use 'ls -l' on the shell prompt to look around, if you like.
2. If your phone is accessible, but not bootable, the first thing I would try is to flash a boot image. You probably have one sitting in the pc folder you used to unlock, or hanson's all-in-one tool has it.
3. If you flash a fresh boot image (kernel) and the phone still won't boot up, the next thing I would try is to restore from a nandroid backup. I'm sure you've made a backup before you started, right?
4. If the nandroid restore doesn't work, you can try flashing a stock rom like someone elese suggested. You just copy the zip file, which you download from the stock rom thread in the dev section, to the external sd card, rename it to PH85IMG.zip, and reboot your phone into the bootloader. The phone will detect the stock rom if it's there and asks you whether to install the update or not. Remember to download the correct file for your carrier.
5. If nothing works, come back here and post your result. I'm afraid your phone may have a corrupt nand memory...

You used the wrong image, went about using that ota file incorrectly as well, Oh boy, ite, let's keep our fingers crossed on this.
You said your hboot was 1.93.0002? Correct? If you're s-on, this may or may not work, lets hope it does, since's it practically your only hope, though I wonder what your cid currently is set to.
Since you did s-off, you should know how to use adb. Shut the phone off via battery pull, boot up into hboot then go into fastboot, using adb check your cid via this command: fastboot getvar cid
Let me know what it is when you're done, we'll work from there, hopefully we can get this done.
sorry, forgot to pull sd card so it ran the PH85IMG twice,
the cid is

Cid is 11111111 and you're s-on? Lucky you, well download the mobilicity GB stock ruu exe file, reboot into fastboot and run the file to restore your phone to complete stock GB, hopefully it goes through, though I don't see why it wouldn't, if you're s-on, you'll have to relock your bootloader before doing this.
Thanks! hopefully it'll work
downloading the GB rom from

going to relock bootloader with the amaze tool.
going to change the RUU to PH85IMG then pray it works!
I'll post an update in this thread, unfortunately the rom takes about 4 hours to download from file factory

You can download the ruu from the ruu/ota thread in the same forum, the dev host upload by krook is much faster.
Do not change the name of that file, it's an exe file, you have to run it via a pc with your phone connected via usb cable in fastboot mode.
Hi a, I am freaking out here about my amaze.
I have successfully got to S-off after 5 tries and i have flashed TWRP 2.0.0 from hasoon tool kit. But now i am stuck at the juopunutbear screen with the green arrow, the phone would go into bootloader mode and also into twrp revovery mode, however i cannot get the dam thing to load any roms. I cannot mount the external sd card so I cant install the stock rom even if it relock the bootloader.
Can I reload stock rom with S-off ?, i have been reading and reading now i am lost
i have been looking for 5 hours and I am need some help please.
is my phone bricked or am i not doing some thing right. nothing besides the the green screen and bootloader
My bootloader is also unlocked and I am (was) running stock ICS was about to install energy rom.
Would really appreciate all the help guys

I managed to soft brick my phone or i believe so. I unlocked the bootloader, flashed cwm to the phone, rooted then read that it fails alot with the rezound so i prepped my phone to unroot and remove cwm and install Amon Ra and nodded off to sleep while in the recovery menu... This is where it gets weird... I woke up to my phone like this. I uploaded a picture of the bootloader screen... Its relocked and will not allow me to do jack... Im not the best at development and relatively inexperienced... I desperately need help. Please.
Well you have hboot so its not bricked. I would pull the battery and then make sure you don't have a ph98img.zip in root of sd. Then put battery back in and see what happens.

Do you have HTC sync installed?
Have you tried to download a complete RUU in PH98IMG.zip form and see if it will install from the bootloader?
Here is a link...
Flash ruu of your choosing then use the toolbox to install amon ra. When in doubt use ruu to get back to square one. I have had to do it a few times lol.

I've downloaded HTC sync and it's fully updated. I downloaded the 4.0.3.xxxx ph98img.zip from I can't remember where and tried throwing it onto my sd card but when I booted the phone I to hboot it did nothing. I'll try again if someone can guide me through it. And this is my fault for thinking after being out of the tech loop for years that I could jump back in and do a full root and rom flash without much more extensive research. I found out what happened also. My gf was trying to get the phone to turn on and couldn't figure out what was happening and turned out she was playing with the volume rocker and power button. Have it named PH98IMG.zip(watch your filenames, be careful not to name it PH98IMG.zip.zip). But first try reunlocking again and see if you get boot. If you at least get boot animation that tells me you have a working boot partition. If not then you would need to reflash a boot.img. If you are adamant about gaining root, you could have just flashed a custom rom after flashing Amon RA + a data wipe along with proper boot.img in fastboot.

Simple steps I used when I was in an HTC boot loop.
1. Relocked and installed the stock ruu.
2. Unlocked and flashed the recovery partition using fast boot flash recovery recovery.img (name of your recovery image you want to use.)
3. Used recovery to install su.
4. Profit.
You can also use fast boot to install asop boot images. But for now if you want root use steps 1-4. It worked for me when I borked the heck out of entire phone. ( I had no recovery even after fastboot flashing the recovery partition.)

lol, your not bricked at all. Not even close. You just need to figure out how to flash an ruu in hboot to get back to square one. That way you have a clean slate to start over again with.
Next time, DONT FALL ASLEEP.

What should be done if i'm stuck at re-locked bootloader, S-ON, download mode screen, unable to lock-unlock bootloader nor able to flash RUU ? Even the unbrick tool at http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=183353 doesn't detect my phone.
I gave it to a repair shop, he tried flashing the RUU but said he was getting some USB error.
Pull SD card, place a full ruu ph98img on it with a card reader.

I have HTC Amaze 4G Asian version s-on unlocked. A few days back, I put my mobile on charging. Suddenly I saw it was restarted and then stuck on htc logo. After waiting some time, I plugged the battery out and put on charging again. After a couple of hours, I tried to turn it on but it did not. After making some attempts, I came to know that the battery had been damaged. I bought a new battery and tried to switch on the mobile. This time, the mobile turned on but stuck at htc logo. I went to bootscreen and tried to run 4EXT recovery but the recovery did not open. I tried to reinstall recovery with All-in-one-toolkit but failed.
Then I tried to flash ph85img.zip but it did not work. I tried Mainver Error Fix with AIO toolkit but it did not work. I tried to relock my mobile with AIO toolkit but it was also unable to find the device (driver has successfully been installed and tested).
Now I am worried because I am not able to recover my phone with any of the ways I know. I have also tried HTC Amaze Unbrick Project in UBUNTU but it was not able to detect any bricked device.
The mobile now turns on but does not go beyond htc logo. By pressing volume down + power key, it goes to HBOOT and BOOTLOADER but cannot load RUU flash or recovery.
Please help me how to recover it and make it working.
Hello..
1st of all your Mobile is not hard bricked so you may not try that unbrick project now.
2nd thing I am pretty sure that you're following all steps on that stuck screen.
But to use that AIO tool you must be in bootloader or fastboot to execute their commands.
3rd
To flash that RUU , the file must be on external SD card.
So conclusion is that restart your phone in bootloader/fastboot then try to flash that 4ext recovery.
And then flash gb Rom because you're s -on and having Asian amaze so there is no chance that you have ics Rom.
Download that gb Rom from Asian guide of aj to upgrade amaze in general section. And flash it through 4ext.
Hit that thanks button if I helped you

I tried AIO toolkit while the phone was in fastboot usb mode but it did not work.
I tried RUU with external sd card but the bootloader detected the file and stopped after reading the whole file.
I am not able to run 4ext. I am not able to reinstall 4ext or any other recovery software either.

Rename your file to PH85IMG.zip and place it on your sdcard.
Some times what happens.. That when you rename that file then the file name may like ph85img.zip.zip due to hidden extension in Windows.
So make sure that it's only ph85img.zip not ph85img.zip.zip..
And try again..

I cannot go to 4ext. When I select "recovery" in hboot menu, my mobile restarts and then sticks at HTC logo.
I had the same problem first flash 4ext recovery then, use the amaze toolkit and click flash rom it should take you to a hidden section of the phone that will show a black screen and blue htc logo on the screen, you should at the very least be able to go into recovery turn on smart flash and then re flash the rom so everything goes through

To do anything You must have recovery access.. So first try to access your recovery anyhow..
Because without that it's not possible to gain your mobile again..

Thank you very much. I was able to flash recovery and 4ext is now loading. However, when I go to bootloader > recovery, it loads 4ext and then 4ext always shows "preparing for boot". After sometime, 4ext restarts the cellphone and its keeps on restarting again and again. I am not able to enter into 4ext menu. Will you suggest some solution to it please?

no you cant flash a ruu from recovery, ruus can be flashed only through bootloader.. and to that you must be S OFF or you must have a branded amaze 4G
Hello. I'm having trouble with my HTC Rezound. I had CWM and Clean Rom was running fine but I tried to switch to Venasaur so I could use it on Straight Talk. I had an unlocked boot loader and everything worked before I tried flashing the new rom. Now, My phone won't even turn off unless it's dead. The bootloader says relocked, and it just keeps putting itself in fast boot whether I power it on or not.It says security warning under tampered and relocked. Can anybody please help me out? It would be much appreciated!

Wait... so you get (or have) the unlock token, and push it to the phone via fastboot and it won't unlock? Not to question your abilities, but are you sure your doing it right?
Your using "fastboot flash unlocktoken Unlock_code.bin" and then accepting the terms on the screen of the phone, and it is not unlocking?

No offense taken! I'm here for help after all, haha. But yes, I have the unlock code.bin, type that into a CMD run from he sdk folder, get the accept screen on the phone, accept and it still says relocked. I dunno what I'm doing wrong, or if the phone is just screwed..
Hmmm... weird, so it must be accepting the token if it is prompting you on the phone to accept the terms on the phones. Guess I have never been in this position where it wouldn't unlock. Did you try going through the entire process on the HTCdev.com again from start to finish? Other than that, I would have to differ this to someone with a little more "hacking" knowledge on the Rezound, like @REV3NT3CH
I hate to say it, but if it won't unlock again, that is bad... really bad, like might be bricked and require a JTAG bad.

Why Venasaur, it is very old and unsupported for almost 2 years... I would recommend Evervolv (KitKat 4.4.2), Tachyon (4.3 Jellybean), or EclipticRez Revamped v9 (Sense ICS), all are stable and have support.

Evervolv should work with a GSM SIM, Edge only, you need to flash the GSM patch for Evervolv though.
What error is it giving you?
EDIT: I don't see any reference to Straight Talk in the Venasaur thread.
Venasaur uses an older update-binary thats now incompatible with the newer builds of TWRP. The fix, flash it twice. I recommend using TWRP 2.5.0.0 for ICS/GB roms, latest for JB/KK.

Are you copying the ROM file to the external SD card?
You will probably need to do a complete wipe of the phone except external SD card in the Wipe->Advanced menu, I usually do it at least twice. Then go to the Mounts, select external SD and Mount, it should allow you to get to the SD card with your PC via USB, copy the ROM ZIP file over and go back home and Install and browse to the ZIP and flash.

How did you start TWRP, from the phone or via "fastboot boot" command? If you started TWRP from the phone, you need to flash the boot.img manually.
