As title says, what is the best setting to be chosen?kindly brief the detail coz im newbie

Well it depends on taste and kernel support but for me the best will be interactivex as governor and sio as I/o scheduler, it gives you no lags and good battery life.
i installed x kernel v4, did not have to change the cpu governor or i/o.
i only install nofrills to do benchmark, then removed it afterwards.
best battery life ever on hybrom v16
i think it uses ondemand for cpu, not sure wether it uses noop or deadline for i/o
i am currently testing smartassV2 cpu governor with simple i/o scheduler on krsh3 kernel
so far battery time is better with these settings than the default ondemand governor

I am on the latest milestone 6 rom, and also the latest devil kernal. What is the clockspeed I should set it at, and also which governor works best?

I use 1200 MHz cpu speed, 105% liveoc, vr i/o scheduler and lulzactive governor. smooth and stable. though liveoc can be raised

how about the battery performance ?
Device:- LWW
Rom :- Stock 4.1.b.0.587
Rooted:- Yes
Boot-loader:- Unlocked
Kernel:- Mesa 2.7
Kernel settings
Overclocked:-yes 1.6GHZ
Governer:-Lagfree
scheduler:- sio
Here is mine settings and what do you prefer for lag Free gaming experience.
Sorry for bad english, Its not my native language.
Sony's ICS is badly optimized. If you want lagless gaming, stick with GB.
I wouldn't use 1.6ghz tho, 1.4ghz is the highest possible safe frequency considering that arc s with msm8255t cpu is clocked at 1.4ghz by default.
1,4ghz is enough for me for many games ive installed, especially for PS1 games
games setting must be interactive gov 249mhz - 1,4ghz with i/o sio.

Keep a clean system with enogh free RAM.
GB is ideal for gaming.
If on ICS, get the latest adreno drivers for it.
As anonymous said, OC-ing to 1.4GHz max i safe, dont go overkill and fry your device!
Set minimum CPU freq. to 250MHz and a good governor. Maybe changing gov to performance, just while gaming....
Also, find a tweak package that works best for you.
Sent from my ST15i
ROM: Stock 2.3.4
Kernel: RAGE Kernel v.3.0
OC: 1,4 Ghz (1,6 means more fps but 1,4 is safer and still good)
Governor: SmartassV2
Tweaks: No ram or other tweaks, just pure stock performance
Result: GTA VC at ~ 30 fps
Stock ics .587 (heavily modded with many nxt features)
lupus kernel
1.2GHz
smartassV2
I/O scheduler cfq
full project fluid
gaming is smooth, preety much lagless
apps open very fast
Thanks all of you for replying.

Don't forget to hit him thanks!
LuPuS kernel -
OC: 1.1 ghz
Governor: smothass
I/O: noop
Script: Project Fluid
zRam enabled
Some graphics libraries that I draw from the last update of the Xperia S
Device: Live with Walkman
ROM: Stock GB 0.62 (with build.prop and init.d tweaks)
Kernel: X Kernel
These are my settings:
Max. Freq.: 1.4 GHz
Min. Freq.: 249 MHz
Governor: smoothass
Scheduler: sio
If you're more of a gamer, GB is ideal. My settings allow smooth gaming on heavy games (e.g. The Dark Knight Rises) - absolutely no lag. I can even multitask while gaming. You might also want to add some system tweaks and scripts for better RAM management and better battery efficiency.

Adreno booster? Wow never seen that before link to thread?

guys i m using 1ghz lww...smartassv2,sio,xnxt v9.1,kappa kernel ...i can play any game...
I have seen the benchmarks of htc one v, it has the same specs as lww, mini etc. , the quadrant score for the i/o was 2000 approx, but it is 1000 approx on my lww, why?
I tried to change all the possible i/o schedulers in mesa kernel via set cpu, but the score always comes between 900 and 1000.
Questions:
1) is i/o scheduler even related with the i/o benchmark scores?
2) how can i/o performance increase?
3) why gaming on one v is way smoother than lww?
Do not depend on benchmark scores. The true rating of the phone will be with how it runs for the user.
Best Regards,
AJ
