Is it possible to view multiple text msgs from the same person on the notificaton drop down menu instead of it saying "2 messages". Is there an option on the S3 or an app? I just switched from apple to android and i search the forum and google and couldnt find an answer.

Hi guys,
I've just found out that I could not delete now SOME of the messages from one of my contacts unlike before. Menu->Delete Messages are no longer working for that person, and to my amazement for this person only. The feature is still working with my other contact's SMS.
I hope anybody can offer some help.
Thanks.
Just to check, there are messages from that person to delete, rather than an empty list?
Can you select them in 'all messages'?
Bought my 3rd s743 and for some reason text messages are being read aloud when received. I can't find a setting to disable this. How do I turn sms messages from being read aloud? My other two phones don't do this.
Thanks
Nevermind, it is a program I never used called "Microsoft Voice Command".
There was a setting I had to disable.
Hello,
I searched in the topics but couldnt find a similar thread.
Is it possible to have Whatsapp notifications on the SGS 3 (android) like on the iphone?
So see all messages from contacts , instead of just showing a notification like :
4 new messages from 2 contacts?
bump
I think you'll have to contact the developers if you want this feature. It's something Whatsapp has chosen to do.
In some chatting apps, friend A sends a message saying aaa, at the same time friend B sends a message saying bbb.
On notification bar, it displays "2 messages from xxx" but not "message aaa from A" AND "message bbb from B",
That is, the messages are merged together and I can't read each contents of messages in a quick view.....
So, is it possible not to merge messages in android? like iOS?
You can try Espier Messages 7

thanks for your reply, but I really don't want to use a new chatting app....I just want to realize this function by some options or some add-on apps.
After the july or june update... I noticed that I can no longer share to text conversations that contain more than 2 other recipients.
I've been getting no where with Samsung support via twitter..and At&t said the updates was all samsungs fault...
But if I want to share anything, from any app, or the within the native OS... for example, if I go to pictures, select a picture and hit Share > select messages > the conversations > I should see all of the conversations that are available on the phone via the native messages app.
But I don't.
Any text/conversation that has more has more than 2 other recipients (a group of 3 including me) is not listed at all. Missing.
and they're not under "Groups" either... And "group conversations" is turned in the settings obviously...
I have a group texts of 4 members and one with 5 .. whatever I need to send them, I have to save it first..then go straight to messages and hit + there to send it.
why the **** would they remove this functionality?
am I the only person seeing this?
