I just switched from a HTC Desire to a Galaxy S3 and what I miss most is the keyboard. Its not only the style, its also the button layout (yes, the small differences with , and . buttons make a difference for me, also the hide keyboard key)
Is there a keyboard that comes close to HTC Keyboard (white keys, similar layout) or even a port of HTC_IME_mod?
Edit: I got the HTC_Ime_mod to run (downloaded from here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=24612766&postcount=3431) but the keyboard does not scale in resolution, so its small in the bottom left corner ^^
have a look at smarkeyboard, it has a HTC skin

I realized that the standard Android has Landscape mode in Homescreen (In 2.1). Is this also posible while running Sense UI?
As of yet, it is not possible, and won't be in the coming official hero update. I think mostly because of how widgets would react to such a change. Especially when considering that some widgets are too tall to fit in the smaller height of the landscape layout. But i guess it is, possible, if all widgets got adjusted.
I got my new tab one month ago and i didn't flash any rom or rooted. does that make me tunning on stock rom ?
and i notice the interface of my tab where when i slide the screen there's this blue glowing box appearing. on top right corner the app drawer button and the + button also has blue border glowing. i really love the interface. Does touchwiz responsible for that or honeycomb itself. i am quite confuse on this, because when i use differnt launcher (ADW launcher EX) i don't see any blue glowing color, and when i add widget. instead of direct preview, i get this text only stating the size of widget. same goes to adding application shortcuts etc..
i love the original interface but it's quite laggy and lack of certain good function. So is that touchwiz or honeycomb feature ? how to make it work on other launcher ?
p/s : how to check which ROM i am running on. my android is 3.1
I really want a black dock with buttons in the same style as those softkey menu-buttons that come with ICS on devices like Galaxy Nexus and other phones that doesn't have real buttons.
Anywhere I can find those? I've seen blue, white, grey and with mirror effect so it would be nice if there are more than just those three that u often see.
Hello, I'm using a theme called MiuiOrangeFree, and it looks awesome. However there's a problem. On the home screen and app drawer there are still blue lines, which are really visible and look ugly.
I'm using CM10.
The first blue line is the horizontal slider near the bottom of the screen of the home screen. The one that separates the app drawer and 4 buttons from the rest of the screen(a thin line).
The second one is the horizontal slider in the app drawer, on the very bottom of the screen, and on the top, the blue line separating the "apps & widgets" from the app icons.
If somebody could do this for me, I would be really grateful, as I plan to use this theme all the time.
I can also do it myself if you can tell me how to do it. I never really did any of this, but I'd like to learn it someday.

I love the Launcher on my M7 GPE, and its grown on me so much its the only one I can stand right now, It is similar to the google now launcher but is NOT the ugly ass now launcher... I don't have the now cards when i scroll left, and dont have the ugly ass white card for my app drawer background, It is solid black with scrolling from left to right that scrolls into my widgets pages, and a quick play store icon in the top right, it has 5 home screen pages, 2 left, and 2 right, 1 center, the google search bar is static at the top of my home screen, and there are no excess customization options(that i absolutely despise (no need to change a launcher that's perfect imo)) anyway is this launcher available for other phones as a standalone apk? if so where can i get it?
