Hi i am new to this forum i have messd up my samsung galaxy s2after rolling it back to gingerbread from ice cream sandwich. After a failed attempt of rolling it back to a previous android version using odin my phone wont even come on wont charge doing nothing its like a dead phone and am worried big time. I have rolled back my galaxy note without any problem, but s2 iz made me really worried. Please help

Have you tried the USB jig? If that doesn't work you have hard bricked your phone. Only remedy is the JTAG procedure..

If you had ICS LQ5 (leaked version from Samsung), maybe you have a hard-brick problem that this rom has cause to many others. Search about the LQ5 rom for more information. I really hope it's only a soft-brick.

i have mt65xx gt-i9300 phone. i know that my phone is clone of samsung galaxy s3 i need to upgrade android here is 4.0.4 and i need 4.1 or 4.2 and cant upgrade it when i go to sittings-about phone than system updates writes your system is corrently up to date.so help me

First of all, a LOL for ur post! It has to be in Q&A. It's a clone of s3 as u said and what are you expecting? OTA from Samsung?

and why do you -NEED- to upgrade? the phone wont work anymore if you dont upgrade?
btw clone means only that it -looks- similar to a gs3, its a completely different phone and updates for gs3 wont work on it.
ok so i have a gs3 sch r530 from usc it was running stock JB 4.1.1 so i wanted to root it,,,,which i di ver easily due to the sg3 toolkit...i made the appropriate backupsd and even have a full one saved on my pc. So i decided to flash the liquid smooth jb 4.2.2 rom which i did easily: however i didnt care for that rom and wanted to go back to the stock one. i couldnt do it though, my cwrm was not working right and wasnt seeing my backups,,,,so i gt real frustrated and decided to use the sg3 toolkit again to restore it back,,,although i did it wrong and ran it asif it was an unrooted phone......now my phone just turns on long enough to see the samsung logo briefly and turns right back off....i cant seem to get it to boot into recovery or download mode either i d ont think......did i just make a paper weight? please help me somebody!!:crying::crying::crying:

Did you flash firmware for an I9300 on your phone that is not an I9300 from I9300 forum .
sch r530 from usc ...that is not I9300 and flashing I9300 firmware will brick your phone .

Hello guys
suddenly my s3 died while i kept on charging in morning.
now it wont boot up at all nor in recovery or download mode.
phone was rooted and was running custom rom of 4.1.2 ( previous rom s5 sensation ).
i have tried many diffrent battries and try to put on charging but still its showing no sign of waking up.
i need help urgently. is it a hardware problem or software problem.???
If you have the 16GB version and your software wasn't new enough, you might have been victim of the sudden death bug.
Note that 4.1.2 was updated several times throughout its lifespan, the older ones are subject to the sudden death bug, only on the 16GB galaxy S3.
