Couldn't stand ATT anymore with slow data speeds so using this phone on T-Mobile 4G with flashed radio.
I know the update will require reroot but will i still be able to re root and flash t-mobile 4G baseband or should i wait and keep gingerbread longer..
Thanks all

Hi guys, I'm using an unlocked bell note on Telus.
My phone is rooted and currently have an ics rom running on it. So my question is to get the official ics update, do I have to restore my phone to stock bell or stock Telus?

Prob when the update comes you will have to go to stock gb or wait until the ics is uploaded by some one then odin it or flash it.

Sounds good thanks!
I messed up my stock kernel by flashing the wrong think, so that's a relief to just use Odin.

I updated to Official ICS and T-Mobile 4G didn't work. I had to flash one of the tmobile modems.
you have to flash a t-mobile radio i recomend ics blaze it worcks great with ics you can find it on the g-note super evrything thread
This ics is an official AT&T rom so you would need to flash your t-mobile radio.
Ok so i have a note that is unlocked that I am using on Solavei (MVNO of t-mobile ) i recently flashed the stock Rom via odin after flashing a bad file and now its on GB(was on ics when i bought it from a guy) i have 4g and its really fast and no i didn't flash the modem. What im asking is if i root and flash a jb Rom will this mess up my signal?

You probably live in a re-farmed area (the reason you are getting 4g on the stock modem) in which case flash jb all you want and it shouldn't affect your data speeds. And a heads up, this should probably be in the q&a section.

You will actually update twice I believe. The update you are seeing is ics after that is complete you will see another update available which will be jelly bean. Just letting you know.

I got a 2nd att one
Unlocked on T-Mobile problem is it's on 4.3 official att ota .
I want to flash a T-Mobile based Rom ultimately to get WiFi calling. I know I can flash tmo roms on att One, but is it possible to flash a 4.1.2 over a 4.3 ota ultimately I'd be downgraded. Any side effects?

I believe there are updated touchscreen drivers in the 4.3 firmware, that make running a 4.1.2 Rom inoperable. T-Mobile just released 4.3 so it's possible a T-Mobile 4.3 based Rom would work since it has WiFi calling built in.
