Recent Destinations (Navigation) - Galaxy S III Q&A, (US Carriers)

How do I clear the recent destinations in Navigation? I have looked everywhere without any luck. It is probably so obvious it is embarrassing but if I do not get rid of it and my other half finds it I will be really embarrassed. Any help will be appreciated.
Thanks
PS T-Mobile SGS3 Pebble Blue (32GB)

Go to settings-application manager-navigation and clear data.

Can we get HTC Notes with Evernote sync?

Is there a way to get this on the prime? I'd love it. All I've found on here is people talking about it, not if it's possible to strip the apk from the Flyer or something and get it on the prime (and possibly the widget too)

Have you looked in\asked anyone in the flyer forums?

My question was geared towards, is it possible to get it and actually have it work since we don't have sense on our tablet. And wasn't sure if we could have it without the framework.

Making SIP calls from Prime

Hi,
Could some please tell if it is possible to configure SIP in Prime(not about apps like Skype)? I can from my ICS in Nexus S. But couldnt see the option in Prime. Am i missing something!!!!

hate to be a noob but could you explain what that app does?
Im using grooveIP to make free calls from my tfp via google. It works great and all it needs is your username/password
SipDroid is the best app available IMO. Cis, 3X, and all the others don't work the best and aren't persistent, loose sip all the time when doing other things or if screen is off...

Don't know them sadly, I use pbxes with Google voice for sip via sipdroid. Works perfect on my tablet too.

The easiest and best way for this is to buy groove IP from the Android market and use it with your Google voice account. Set up is a snap and the quality is very good..nobody has been able to tell yet that I was using my prime!

I purchased GrooveIP and got absolutely awful quality and played with the settings nonstop between me and my roommate (calling her over 20 times).
I just ended up getting a refund for it.

Unthrottle ability?

I'm sure it has been brought up or asked. But we are a combined forum now. A bigger think tank. Anybody know what it would take to remove the carriers ability to throttle us?
Thoughts?

I believe there is no way, at least there wasn't on GS2 that I recall

When I look through root exporter I see a throttle file under data system throttle. Any ideas?

this has not been possible for the past few generations of Galaxy phones. The files are pushed from t-mobile servers now, so they can't be modded or deleted.
Get a good wifi linking app and utilize as much open wifi as you can and don't waist bandwidth uploading or downloading massive amounts of data when off of wifi when possible.

Google Earth

Has anyone tried the updated 7.0 version of Google Earth with 3D maps? I have tried 3 times and when I open a 3D map it crashes my whole tablet. The first time the app actually uninstalled itself, never had that happen on Android before. I have to say, this is the first real trouble I have had with an app on this tablet.

I just flew over boston with 3d maps no problem. Although after exiting the app my tab got sluggish had to use a task killer to kill all.

Try clearing the app data and doing a cold reboot.

Just tried it in LA - everything works great even on slow connection. It automatically replaced the older version like with all other applications.

Did that and it worked, thanks man. It runs better and doesn't crash anymore, but really slows down my tablet after use. I am guessing it is a real ram hog. When trying to kill it, it didn't come up under advanced task killer app list, I had to go into settings/all apps/earth and force close.

Yeah it didn't show for me on the list either, but I tapped on kill all and it worked

Tried it on wifi connection. It's quite laggy and obviously not well optimized yet. I think I wasn't active enough at zooming because of slow connection (see post above) and those lags didn't show up... So for now I don't think it's usable in 3D buildings mode. I'll wait for an update.
Yeah, very laggy for me
