Previous version Adobe Flash Player Apks for Galaxy S3 - Galaxy S III Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I recently got my Pebble Blue 32gb S3 July 2nd. When I first went to the Play Market to check for updates, I noticed that there was a new version of Adobe Flash available. After reading all of the bad reviews about the most recent update, I declined to update.
So, I yesterday 07/09/12 I noticed that there was a new version of the Adobe Flash Player and the reviews seemed decent. I checked my Adobe Flash Player install and saw there was a Adobe Flash Player installed over the original Adobe Flash Player install they seemed to have come with S3.
I then did a backup of the previous apk that was installed. I uninstalled that version of Adobe Flash Player (not sure the version #) that was installed. I then installed the latest version of Adobe Flash Player from the Play Market. Then, I went to backup the latest version of Adobe Flash Player that I just installed also. Unfortunately, the backup program was not smart enough to rename the backup file, since the previous backup file I had just backup up had the same file name. So, I ended backed up the new Adobe Flash Player over the old one. Ouch.
1. Does anyone have any of the previous Flash Player Apks (along with their version #s)? Could you post the links or pm them to me?
2. Does anyone with the Galaxy S3 Pebble Blue 32gb know what version of Adobe Flash Player was already installed on they're phone when they first got it?
3. What is everyone's experience with the latest Adobe Flash Player version just released 07/09/12? I really don't know what to compare it to. I didn't really test out the previous version using desktop pages, because I have been keeping my browser stock and trying to not install to much bloat (no apps running in the background, no widgets, and no browser bloat overlays), as I feel that ICS is more of a memory hog, and that this needs to be done since we only have 1gb to keep the International S3 speedy. With my limited testing I do notice there is quite a bit of choppiness when you scroll up and down and zoom in/out when watching flash videos in desktop mode. I am wondering if this existed in previous versions of Adobe Flash Player? Although, I will say the video itself plays perfectly smooth.
4. Which previous Adobe Flash Player version is your favorite and why?
AC

Anyone?

I have been watching videos today with the new flash and i have not seen any issues yet. i did see it with the previous update, flash was freezing and not starting sometimes. but this one seems good

Wondering if this flash player will work on the Verizon s3?

I have installed it on my S3 manually by using this manual guide http://www.careace.net/2012/10/03/how-to-manually-install-flash-on-your-samsung-android-device/ working fine.

[Q] Flash player for Folio100

Is already available a usable flash player for Folio100? If yes, where? Does any of the mods contain it? Until now I can not play flash videos on my Folio, Is it my fault? pls. inform me.
Thanks, sandor37
You can find flash player in the latest foliomod by dexter and if you have the original toshiba rom you can find it in this forum. Both are bĂȘta ones so there are some crashs sometimes but work pretty good for games like angry birds or watching some videos on YouTube and so.
Edit if you install foliomod do not try to install the one from the market. The one in v1.3c works And if you want try the first bĂȘta one.
Thank you. I've tried these, but found that some items on youtube can not be played, others can. What is the reason for that?

Your question is back to front. That is probably the reason that this is a BETA release of the flash plugin. BETA is a software engineering term that means a product works most of the time, but is not reliable enough to be offered to the general public. (compared to ALPHA, which works some of the time if you are lucky, and RELEASE which is incrementally better than BETA by an amount depending on the standards of the company making the release).
Again thanks for the response.
Now I succesfully installed the mod v1.3d. Everything(?) works well but flash. I think that is the reason why when I am trying to install Angry Bird, after a while it says: "unsuccessful installation". Several other apps and games could be installed and work well, but Angry Bird.
What do you think, what is the reason?
did you start with a factory reset?
No, I simply made a system update. Can this be the reason?
Shall I repeat the procedure: first a system recovery, and after a system update, well?
Angry Birds is not a Flash game, it is a native Android application.
I do not think that your Flash plugin is the culprit here, I would also (like tshoulihane) recommend to do a factory reset. I definitively think that would be the reason.
Thanks.
I have just repeated the update process: first factory reset, after v.1.3d update. The result is the Angry Birds run OK, but no flash-oriented videos. Eg. on BBC's homepage all videos I tryed to play responded: "You have not the correct version of the Adobe Flash Player. You can download from here....". If I try to download, it says "this is for Linux." Some you tube videos however can be playes.
Therefore my question is again:Which flash playes can be used with Folio? That included in the different mod versions seem not applicable for general flash videos.
What is you experience with playing BBC-videos?
Regards: Sandor
You must use default browser or dolphin hd if you want to see flash video it does not work with other one i try such as opera or Firefox
This was a very important info. I checked and fnow lash is working at last!!
Thanks!

[Q] Flash is malfunctioning?

it seems that Flash, for me, is malfunctioning. If I enter just any website which has flash content, it always tells me I need Flash Player to view that content. I know Adobe said they'd drop the android support, but it was my understanding that Samsung still would include Flash in their Jellybean update? I even tried installing a Flash apk I know works, but neither the stock web browser nor Chrome picks it up.
Chrome does not pick it up since it's unable of using extensions.
Are you sure you included a complete APK (best results are from ones exported from ICS-phone)
Try an APK from this forum, you should find several uploaders.
Flash works flawlessly on stock Browser in Jelly Bean
IIRC, the .apk I've been using came from the Nexus 7 forums and was said to work witg Jellybean. I'll scout the themes and apps section and see if there's one which works.
EDIT: By the way, does it matter if the .apk is installed as a user app or system app?

[Q] karbonn st8- flash video content not playing

Hi friends
I have bought a new Tablet, karbonn ST 8 with Android jelly bean as OS. As I am opening YouTube. com in my browser, the video component is not playing, I can only hear the sound. I have used both the Stock Android browser and preinstalled Google Chrome.
Under setting > application, I can see Flash player 11.1 installed, but still, the problem exists.
Please help me to resolve this issue.
Jellybean 4.1 does not support Flash, but is there a workaround?
Well, it seems that the trouble is with the OS itself, Adobe has stopped providing Flash compatibility with Android JB. So, is there any workaround? I have searched and tried different methods including one of the Flash packages available here. But as soon as I try to install the flash package, I receive a failure notice, informing that there is already another package installed of the same signature. But still, I can not play any YouTube video in my browser.
Is there any work around of this problem?
Thank you

[Q] Adobe Flash problem ...

Hi - We have two Galaxy I9100 S2's - both are Unlocked, Rooted, and running Jellybean 4.1.2 I9100XWLSD_I9100OXXLS6_I9100XXLS8_NEE (the Nordic build)
I visited a web site in the stock browser that required Flash, and discovered that Flash is no longer available from Google Play
I found that Flash will work on JB, if you side-load the .apk
So, I download Flash from http://d-h.st/x4v, installed it, re-visited the web site, and the Flash video played ok in my browser :good:
Problem is, after following the same procedure on my wife's phone, her phone will still not play the video
I've tried re-downloading the .apk, also copying the .apk from my phone using WiFi-Direct
Any ideas why it works on one phone and not on the other ?

Don't know which version you used, but try this one.
Thanks - won't be able to try it until tonight though
Once I got my hands on her phone, I noticed that she'd increased the default font size, and also activated the browser's Incognito mode
I un-did those two settings, and installed your Flash .apk,
and it's working now :good:
-Thanks

(Guide) Flash Support on Jelly Bean

This ain't actually a guide but just a sharing of facts.
As of some time I always missed flash support in current Internet browser's for JB, and all the workarounds by installing a modified or really old version of other browsers like an old version of dolphin browser did satisfy my need of having flash BUT it was dreadfully slow or quite not like how it was when in GB or ICS and using ancient crappy browser's was increasing the pain of using flash.
And when almost all hope of decent browser experience with flash was lost, I came upon UC Browser and I happened to be in a site that required flash, and the browser gave me an option in the space of the flash video to install a plugin(please note that I had uninstalled flash player before, since I got sick of flash) , I was like "well whatever I tried every other ****" and when I clicked on it, it gave a toast message of plugin downloading and sure in a couple of minutes I was prompted to install Adobe flash player and after the installation the page refreshed itself and there was blue play button now and on clicking it the flash video loaded without any delay and that was the beginning of my best experience with flash in JB, so guy's why don't you try it out? Just go to Play Store and Install UC Browser and go through something similar like I went through.
Also note UC Browser uses a specific build of flash player 11 so uninstall flash player if you have it installed before doing anything above.
And yeah Dolphin Browser latest doesn't support flash in JB, Firefox detects flash but takes forever to load, Chrome never supported flash.
Edit : I recently found out that UC Downloader HD(the tablet version) doesn't prompt us for installing the plug in for some weird reason, so in that case use this version AdbFs10_V11.1.115.47_Android_pf145_(Build13022810).apk of Adobe Flash(which you can download from the Adobe website), or you can install "UC Downloader for Android" (intended for phones, and yes it works in tablets too but HD feels better) and follow what I did above.
