[Q] connecting PS3 controller to tablet s?

Hey everyone,
Have had my tablet for over a month now and absolutely loving it. Just a question to anyone that may know better than me. I was trying to link a PS3 remote to my tablet but no luck with the bluetooth connection. I have seen videos on youtube of a logitech remote, but since it is a sony device(playstation certified one none the less) I was hoping to use them when playing games. I know there is a program called siaxis controller, and siaxis compatability, but no go with either of them......anyone have any ideas or luck with trying?. I have even plugged the controller into the usb slot with the cable.
the pad currently won't work. Sony use a weird bluetooth setup on the ps3.
I've been told in 2 sony shops that it will officially support the pads at some point I'm guessing with ics.
If we got root then you can hack it to work but no root so far
It can be done with a USB connected controller, I can't post the link yet, but search Youtube for 'Sony Tablet S with PlayStation Gaming Controller' a MobileTech review.
Not sure about a wireless option though.
Yeah this was what I thought..... I looked high and low and couldn't find any info on the PS3 controller connection. I did find the video you were talking about for the usb controller. Thanks for that. Just a little bit of a bummer. One thing they seemed to have over looked, but I am sure with some software update in the near future, or rooting, we will figure out a way to get it to work.
If anyone finds anything in the mean time, please post it.....would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
The problem with video is it uses Logitech not Sony controller, I wish there was a way to use Sony one wirelessly or wired at least.

PS3 software update 4.0

Hi,
i was reading a post at Playstation Blog about PS3 4.0 software update, and thinking if this "affect" or add extra funcionality to ours Sony Tablet S...
"Posted on 30 November by Leon Sanders – PS3 Brand Manager, SCEE
PS3 System Software Update (v.4.00)
Countries: AE, AU, GB, IE, NZ
A new system software update (v4.00) will be released this week. In preparation for the launch of PS Vita in Japan, this update will prepare the PS3 to serve as a content management device. It will allow users to copy their media content such as games, music, photos, and videos between PS Vita and PS3, back up PS Vita save data to your PS3 hard drive, and update the system software for your PS Vita system using the network features of your PS3."
Opinios / thoughts?
Cheers
I wish, but I don't see the tablet s mentioned in there at all. Sure it could be a possibility, but it seems like they would specifically mention it if they had plans. Sony needs as much attention as it can get when it comes to the tablet s.

I just installed the update last night and it was pretty clear the update was for Vita interactivity. I would love to see the Tablet S and PS3 work together though.

This would require Sony to give a **** about the Tablet S. I bought it thinking that they would (at least eventually) back it with lots of built in Playstation functionality . All they have done is provided a **** version of the PS Store which makes me buy games I already own on my PSN account for PS3/PSP again. It seems to me that they used the Playstation brand to entice people like me but have done little to actually build on that brand loyalty. I can't even 'throw' content to the PS3 or use the tablet as a remote play device, these two features seem like no-brainers to me.

VGP-DA15E and Xperia Z2 tablet

Does anyone know if this Vaio accessory would work with my Z2 phone/Tablet? I need to connect my tablet or phone to a Vga projector for my presentations but just can't figure out how to. Would welcome any other ideas. Thanks :good:

Suggestions needed for a Bluetooth headset for Xperia Tablet Z, Nexus 4 and PS3

Hi folks, I have a Nexus 4, Xperia tablet Z and PS3 and I'm looking for a bluetooth headset for use with all three of them.
Any suggestions I should consider? Perhaps you might be using similar 3-4 devices..

[Q] Dualshock 4 connectivity

I got the remote play stuff working just fine but can't seem to get any of the dualshock 4 stuff to work. Has anyone successfully gotten a dualshock 4 to sync up with an xperia tablet z? I tried getting the ported xperiaconnectivity stuff to work but couldnt get that working either, it seems to pair over bluetooth but just never works. I know they don't have it working in the remote play threads but figured if it would be working it would be on the xperia tablet z since its got the dualshock3 stuff already. Wish sony would just officially bring over remoteplay/dualshock4 support to the z, specs wise its not that far off from the z2.
I've got the same problem.
