[Q] best place to buy s2 for us?

could anyone please post some good links to good info on us s2 availability or even if possible the best way to obtain one from over seas and use it in us on tmob. just some links would be great if anybody has a few. thanks for your time, veritasequita
It doesn't work on T-Mobile. Voice would be fine, but data would be GRPS.
Will it work on any US carrier? AT&T?

I bought mine from expansys USA www.expansys-usa.com. the phone was $750, and as others told me when I was trying to decide, its covered by warranty and unlocked and unbranded. I would say they're the best so far. A lot of people have done Handtec and Clove as well.

Can someone explain why this phone doesn't work on T-Mobile? Does it not use HSPA+? Also, if it only works on AT&T in the US, why not just wait a month for AT&T to subsidize it with a contract?...
T-Mobile USA's 3G uses the 1700/2100 MHz band. The currently available versions of the SGS2 don't support that band.

A few questions

1. Will a British Ace work in Canada?
2. If so, what's the cheapest, safest, easiest way to network unlock it?
I have the british ace and the 3g bands are NOT compatible with rogers or fido. The only gsm providers with 3g on the SGA bands are wind and mobilcity. Works great in toronto. I bought mine unlocked so can't help you there.

IMHO. reflash with ROM suitable with your area may solve the problem... just guessing

Wrong guess, the phone may not be using the bands in the region.

[Q] Sgs3 from USA work in Europe?

Hi, my friend from east europe looking for galaxy s3,somehow he found that the best deal is to buy one from USA. My question is: will gs3 bought in USA work in europe?
Sorry for my eastern euroean Eng:laugh:
As long as its gsm and NOT CDMA. CDMA is unsupported in Europe and I know that Verizon and sprint are CDMA networks, he's best off buying an AT&T as their gsm then it will work no problem
