Probably got deleted for being in the wrong section, I think the sensation has this, so if we can get an AOSP kernel going from the source released even I can try to port it, though the great devs here would be able to do it with ease

Smh. Apparently it was "moved" by a Mod who messaged me but I searched for it and it was no where to be found.
Yeah, I think the Sensation does have it. I'm running it on my Nexus S 4G but I rather it be ran on my Amaze.

On the last thread that I had.
Rms said that the porting was started but I can't remember if it was being finished or pushed to the side.
He said he needed testers. Dunno if anyone took him up on it. It might be easier for him to test stuff if he had a device... And unlike some he's already doing some work for our device -_-

I'm working with 2 testers for the Droid Incredible 4G LTE. I can tell you this. Uploading a 550mb files multiple times and waiting for testers to go online and test them is a pain in the ass.

I was one of RMS' tester, and the last time I heard, he had to do a lot of work to get it into a working state.

passive aggressive comment ftw! I don't think you realize how much work is being put into the background to make the bigger projects EVERYONE wants into a working form.. most ports are easy if you choose the right device, if YOU are interested, I can send you a guide so you can make some offerings yourself, since I'm assuming you have a device to test on..
But just so you know, countless hours have been put into the big projects, even if you don't see progress.. and passive aggressive comments don't help anyone.
Also for you or anyone else, if you have something you want, and you can find some others who want it too - and it is a unique project that ACTUALLY offers something different, post it - sorta like this request thread! Otherwise the roms we have cover all the bases until we get cm9/10/aokp/sense4 working, which the new kernel source will really help with..

If you want I can show you how to make little flash ables that modify whatever your original rom release is. If the origin release didn't work properly, a small flashable flashed after that can make the changes you need.. then all you need is a quicker way to contact testers. But yea, you don't need to upload the whole thing every time..

I just want this port done so any help you can provide will be great Im sure if some of the big name developers would lend a had we could have this done fast!
Does your port have the same error where even if it's plugged into a charger and red light is on, it still doesn't accept a charge? Because people need to know about that if that's the case... lol almost ruined my phone last night.
Anyways, just as a general guideline: PLEASE don't flash this for too long, if this ROM does have the same issue as the other two ports it would suck to see people lose their phones because they don't have backup batteries or anything.
Just looking out for everyone!

All they have to do is power down fully and charge. They can even remove the ROM, and do it. I've done this on my EVO 4G numerous of times.

Phone Charges fine but I agree this rom is a WIP so use at your on risk

I ran it for a while, runs great, iirc everything works, but there was A LOT missing in the finishing touches/polish/theme etc. So I'm back to my kanged mix of deck/synergy/warm/neon/stock/etc.
That rom almost seems taboo at this point. I have been trying to figure out how to get access to it. Can anyone tell me how to get in on the nightly's?

You've got to set up svn in order to use myn's ROM. Or you did about a week ago, so I assume you still do. Just go in the development section on here and look at Liquids guide to setting up svn and follow it but with myn's Google.code instead of syngergy.

running myn's currently.. well an extremely modded version of myn's.. smooth as silk.. totally smooth, for being alpha, its the balls.. if you go to that link provided above, in some of the posts paulg1981 posts a link to his server with the lastest, so you dont have to have svn.. i totally reccomend trying it (i know duce said it needed some polish, but its sweet)..
SVN look intemediating and I have been avoiding it. I thought there would be a easier option. I am sure it is limiting the amount of people using the beta

Thanks myn, I actually am still running you 2.2 ROM on my wifes EVO. there are plenty of roms with 3.0 enhancements and so on but for speed+battery life+looks and stability where you know everything works right, there's nothing better. Thanks

I know it seems that way but it was actually extremely easy. I was hesitant at first and kinda held off for awhile but I decided to give it a shot and had no problems at all. It's really great having it setup. It's really not no where near as hard as it looks.

Hey guys, welcome in my thread!
I'm netchip, a young boy who likes to mod sources and phones, I said I'll bring AOSP to our SGS2, as we speak, here it is! It's clean from other things than AOSP. Pure AOSP, clean as possible. It's tested properly and it works very smooth . I'll update this when there's a new Android version out, like 4.0.4, but I need sources. The bugs are the same as CM9, youtube works properly. It's deodexed, has light GApps, and you need to enable sync in Settings before it does sync . No Facebook sync included because it isn't AOSP. They simply must update their app. If you need a modded version I'll refer to Paradoxxx's thread, I do help him with his development!
If you donate it goes into a fund for buying me a gnex (galaxy nexus), so I can easily test my new mods out and then port it to our SGS2. Trust me, I'll keep supporting the SGS2 .

Skyrocket is another device with qualcomm chipset, maybe it's doable but then I have to look in it .

Thanks for taking a look, Skyrocket forums are trying, but not much progress being made, Not that theyre not doing a hell of a job, its just a pain in the rear for this device imparticular. Ive been looking all over online not much help anywhere as far as development goes. The galaxy note (US) and the Hercules (T989) are similar, the Hercules almost identical, with exception of modem.

You should tell people everything you say on IRC
First, you're not testing the build on your own phone, we don't even know if you really have an SGS2. Your mom doesn't let you root your phone. You haven't done a lot of work on this ROM: It's mainly copy&paste of CM9 Galaxy S II device tree into AOSP, it's not like you actually -did- something.
Okay I agree, not everyone likes CM9 and some prefer pure AOSP, that's a matter of taste. But it's definately not worth giving a penny to a 12 years old boy which change opinion every other day ("I want an SGS3", next day "I want a Galaxy Nexus", next day "I want an HTC quadcore, f*ck samsung!", and now he wants a GNex again), and that NEVER contributed to the SGS2 development...
He says he'll keep on supporting SGS2, but how is he supporting right now? He's just doing a stripped copy and paste of CM9... If WE fix something then he'll "kang" it and put it into his ROM. He didn't even credited Team Hacksung yet, he "plans" to do it soon... Knowing from the beginning that it's based at 99% on our work.
You should remember that he also distributed a non-tested Galaxy Note kernel (he doesn't owns one), and plan to do so with other devices as well. This could've fully-bricked device... He is definately not someone you can trust, believe me.
Now if you want to give him money, go ahead. But I warned you.

Here it is guys what iv been working on for a couple of days, cm10 port form the htc pyramid, this is in no way a daily rom, hopefully me posting it, will help us with ether aosp jb or getting this one to work enough for daily usage, until we get JB from source(witch is the best choice/experience), The init.rc has been heavily modified, in the hopes of fixing ether wifi or the launcher crashes, but i have not been successful yet, any one is welcome to try and fix the rest of the bugs.
To Chad if you feel me posting this rom is anyway rude or that it would undermine your aosp work, just let me know man i will take it down immediately.

Wifi(Fails to acces a file in data/cannot scan networks.for now it only turns on) i asume this is something in the init.rc
BT (have not tested trasfer of files, but i asume they work)

Whats not working?
RIL(sahara starts it gets a response, but network cant register)
Launchers always crash, no matter witch one
graphic issues with the laucher area of the ui(i asume it has todo something with our egl drivers)
SDcards( i know there not working, this is an easy fix, not important right now)

2) Is this a port from the official CM sensation builds or another build?
3) Are you using the ICS or JB init binary?

1)i used the stock cm9 kernel, i edited the init.rc, inivt.vigor.rc and one of the uvented.rc
2) port from the pyramid cm sensation builds
3)ics init binnary, would it make a difference to use the jb one from sensation?

Watch out, totally borked. Launcher and systemUI don't quite work so you can't do anything with it.
Mod Edit: Off topic and "thank you" posts make it hard to find relevant information and do not belong here. Multiple warnings have already been posted so any further posts such as these will be considered spam and the creator given a warning or infraction.

It took awhile, but I got it to boot.. I even had a surprise I wasn't expecting, data connection.. Lol

When I flashed it, it booted up very quickly and smoothly. My LTE, however, tends to work better with Jelly Bean rather than ICS. I'm not sure why that is, it just seems like it doesn't have any odd issues with JB! Haha, lucky me I suppose.

sound, wifi and bt not working
The libhardware_leagacy.so need to be hacked since it looks for the DNA wifi libs.

if you're working on sound, I'll work on wifi and sdcard.
So looking into wifi and sdcard when I get back. should have it fixed soon enough. I have made changes already to just the base, it consumes less battery now.
Well....im taking maybe bluetooth and camera....hope cameras not to hard
