So.. no one knows?... k..
It looks more like the phone disconnects from the carrier network.

That's definitely the phone radio disconnected. Does it just stay like that no matter where you are, or is it by location?

Read much? ????? It is tracking files that monitors your phone and what you do and sends the info to the carrier. No, you are not supposed to have it on your phone.

Any Verizon phone *shouldn't* have it.

What an awful thread. At least form complete thoughts.

I just got my new galaxy s3 and it is showing a different internal and external ip on 3g. My old htc evo 4g never did this, any way to fix?
Maybe there is a proxy to disable?
Sent from my SPH-L710 using xda app-developers app
I took out all the proxies, no luck. What else?

Could it be something in the rom?

Sprint says that's how it is on this phone, I'm returning this phone in the morning.

Maybe call your service provider to check if the settings are correct.

I want to save battery when 4g isn't needed, so I wanted to turn 3g on instead. However I can't find the option in the mobile data menu.

LTE on off for the thunderbolt works great.

I tried the one for the Thunderbolt first, and it worked. Thanks!
The message arrives with a download button. Pressing download only gives a downloading indicator, no pic. If it worked where would the pic be downloaded to? Gallery?

Solved: turn off wi-fi. Download using mobile data instead. Stupid if you ask me.

Can't say I've ever had that problem, my phone stays connected to Wi-Fi nearly 24/7 except for when driving or out eating as I have it connected to Wi-Fi at home and work. Never once have I had any issue with downloading pictures/videos sent via text while connected to Wi-Fi.

I've had this issue when coverage was spotty and it was talking a while to download. It eventually downloaded but it did take longer than normal.

Mine automatically picks up mobile data and downloads and sends the picture when connected to WiFi. Have you messed with your APNs? Have you tried flashing a new modem/radio?
Sent from my SCH-I605 using XDA Premium HD app
Auto retrieve is enabled. I haven't messed with the APN. I have flashed a new modem. No different results.
