Hi guys, I was trying to get my Galaxy Player 4.0 back onto the stock firmware so I could return it & get a 5.0, but as I was using a recovery rom, i didn't realize I was using the INTL version and my Player is American. it says its rooted but it won't go into download mode. Someone please help

You can still return it. They won't know that download mode isn't working right? As long as everything else works.

Is there a stock rom (honeycomb) for Tab 10.1 wifi (P7510) that I can install? I have installed some custom rom but I want to get rid of it.
It'd be great if someone can point me to a download link.

Go to www.sammobile.com and download the stock firmware that you want and flash through Odin.

Folks, shame on me, but I lost my local copy of a German Samsung Stock ROM for my Galaxy Tab 10.1 and it's archived now at sammobile and only avail for premium users.
By any chance still anybody around who could help me pls?!? PN appreciated!
HELP!!!!!! I have a samsung galaxy player 5.0 us version and it seems to be stuck in download mode and i have had no luck in restoring it. Ive tried flashing a new kernel and rom onto it but no luck...can someone please help me...as you can already tell im still a newb at this..

Did you try flashing it back to stock, and then trying to flash a new kernel and rom onto it. What are you using to flash it? Odin?
1. What did you flash to get there?
2. Can you get to recovery mode?
3. If not, flash a complete from through Odin

I was trying to flash what I thought was the stock Rom using Odin and it just got stuck in download mode...even after I tried flashing a different kernelafter which I which I would try to flash the Rom but it would give an error and stay in download mode download mode...suggestions??

You need to make sure your not flashing player 4 roms on your player 5, since this thread combines the two, it's easily confused. Secondly, download the stock ROM files, and flash using Odin. I'll post the links shortly to help make the search less difficult.

My phone wont boot up its a samsung exhibit 4g and it running gingerbread 2.3.3 it says firmware upgrade failed tried everything only post if you have a link or know what your doing im now stuck on blackberry with out my presious bikerace game fml anyone help

Does your phone power on at all? If it does I would recommend booting into recovery mode and performing a factory reset. If this doesn't work you can flash the latest firmware to your device using Odin from here http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/1/?model=SGH-T679&pcode=TMB#firmware. Let me know if you still have questions .

i was upgrading using odin but cant even boot up to recovery it goes straight to firmware upgrade failed

Fixed it
Thank god i fixed it had to flash with odin using pda and changing my zimange into a tar image the store couldnt fix it yet i did horray! i didnt even have to go into download mode
I've been looking for the stock image to odin back the P7510MA version for a friend and so far I cant find it. I dl'ed

Because that's probably not the right ROM for this tab, i don't know where you can find those files, maybe you can find something on http://droidbasement.com/galaxy/ , but i'm not sure

I think he already did check sammobile, if you can,t find a stock image there, then i don't know where else to look for a stock rom
