Hello all, mostly I just read and not post much. I do have a question. I have searched and can't find the answer, I hope someone knows. I know the S3 comes as a 16 or 32g storage. Does anyone know if the 32g is just a 16g with a memory card or is it truely 32g internal with a memory card slot?
Thanks
Truly a 32Gb... Which you'll have about 25Gb available to use.
yep, I got me a 32gb... and soon i'll get a 64gb external

I'm planning to get a microSDhc card for my Jade (HTC Touch 3g).
Can you guys please advice will there is any difference in performance, response time and speed between 4GB microSDhc and 8GB microSDhc.
For the timebeing, I'm using mere 1GB micro SD card and its works great.
I know that both works with Jade, but how about the response time? I'm surely looking for bigger space, but not at the cost of speed and response time.
Thanks!!

I've been using 8GB since the beginning. When I compare the performance of my jade with a friend's who is using the "gift" micro SD card, which I presume is 1GB, I don't see a difference in speed or response time. With 8GB, you can afford to be lazy and not clean up the storage card for a while!

I'm planning to have my most of the programs/appilcations on the storage card, so was wondering about the response time.
On HTC site, they said they have tested 8GB, but didn't mention about the performance.
http://www.htc.com/in/faqs.aspx?p_id...0&id=85794&f=t
But, the salesman at the store said 8GB will make ur device slow, which I didn't want for more space. He was advicing for 4GB.
Have you installed programs/applications on the Storage card?
And is the reponse of those program on SD are marginally slower as compare to similiar application on device memory?
Even I'm looking to bigger space, it helps a lazy person like me to clean the storage after long long time, but at the cost of response time and stability.
All of my third party software are installed on the storage card. When I open most of them, the time taken is about the same as the default programs, give or take a second for the others. You shouldn't listen to sales people. I was told there were problems with 4GB SD.

I use a 6GB card, nothign wrong Wish mine was 8, but I can't justify buying a new one for an extra 2GB.
I'm not sure if it supports 16gb but I may buy one of those if it's available and if its compatible, which I have no idea lol
I'm using a cheapest 16 GB and don't see any deference at all comparing to 1GB card.
Correct me if i wrong, but i think you won't be able to notice the performance decrease unless you using a high-res/fast Digital camera?
Card touch 3g
Touch 3g with ROM 6.5, have been support 32GB microSD..!
Okay, just to clarify. Anyone using 32gb micro sdhc with the htc hero ? i tried searching around but does not seem to have a proper answer. Anyone care to share cause i was planning to get a new 32gb card.
Mine 16GB is working perfectly, but 32GB?
I think it will work too.

thats the things, so far i've read that most are using 16GB and not 32GB read another thread on some other forum before that this guys had problems cause the 32GB was causing some instability. As for why i want to get such a big card cause i recently saw a 32GB class 10 on offer. LOL
32GB Micro SDHC 2.0 would be working great.
Higher class (higher than class 4) is needed only for sdext and swap partitions.

tested it out yet ? you're using a 32GB ? but frankly i cant figure out why do i need so much space. suggestions ?
I am looking at picking this phone up, but I saw that the Galaxy S3 supports up to a 64GB microsd card. The Incredible 4G says it only supports a 32GB card, but the Rezound also say that and it will apparently work in there. So, what ya think? I ask because I keep a lot on my phone and 32GB + the 4GB of internal available (after 3GB for the OS & 1GB for apps) isn't going to cut it.
Cloud isn't an option for me, so if anyone knows please share your info. Thanks

There's 5.21GB of free internal storage. That may not sound like much, but unlike any of the HTC One phones, the Incredible 4G LTE also comes with an empty microSD card slot underneath the battery cover, which lets you increase your storage significantly. My 32 and 64GB SanDisk microSD cards worked fine.

From the PC World review.
full review here.
Seems like others haven't had any problems using a 64GB either, latest post at the time in this thread. http://androidforums.com/htc-droid-incredible-4g/549054-64gb-micro-sd-compatibility.html
So i stumbled across getting a free 64gb class 10 sd card for my note 2 and was wondering what benefits does having a sd card have besides more storage and what more that its class 10? Im a noob to the whole sd cards with phones as i usually never buy sd cards but with this one being free i said sure why not. I would also like to know if there are any performance enhancements with having this sd card now? I appreciate the help ahead of time
Why wouldnt you want more storage lol...i have like 11gb of music on my sd card you can put movies on it anything..and there are ways to swap your internal memory and sdcard so you could theoretically have 64gb of internal memory...i gota 32gb card if ya wanna trade hahah
Hello.
I 've been reading a lot of (bad) stories with micro sd incompatibilities.
Since i want to use mine as internal storage, i want to be certain that it will work
I am between samsung (the new red pro ones,20mb/sec) and the new toshiba excesior ones (30mb/sec write, 2016 model).
Anyone had any luck with these?
Should they be ntfs formatted when inserted in the tablet?
Thanks in advance.
Hi vadergr,
i tested some different sd cards twoe 64 gb class 10 cards (samsung and lexar), they are verry slow for me. So i decided to buy a sandisk microSD extreme Pro with 64 gb but hab no luck with it, because the card was dead on arrival. So i went to my tech store and by a 128gb Sandisk Ultra, an now i'm fine with it. Fast reading speed (44mb/s) and solid write speed (23mb/s). All in all its ok and the tablet runs verry well with it. I run on Android 7 nougat and use the SD as internal storage.
128gb Sandisk Ultra

I used Memento EXpert 128GB from memorette. I tested it out on PC, make a full read/ write to make sure it has got full capacity and then insert into the tablet. One interesting thing is the tablet recognized the card as Lexar Media (which is quite reputable). I formatted it as the internal storage.
So far, apart from heating up during game-plays, it is quite stable.

I had issues with mine set up as internal storage after i went past 128GB of data on it. went back to my Samsung 128GB Pro microSDXC and worked like a champ. the 256 works well as external storage. I did notice longer boot times with the more data i added to the micro sd card. i opted to stay away from internal storage for now.
