Ldk mid-a15 - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi,
I bought LDK MID-A15 tablet.
It specs can be sen here: h*p://www.anhoch.com/pcmarket/index.php?cat_id=1005&pid=33854
I have to ask does someone know this tablet and is it possible to be rooted?
It runs on ICS 4.0
Also it says it support 3G modem but unfortunately it does not support Option GI0225 so what type of modem is supported ?
Also why when battery goes down to 20% it shut it self down. Can i be modified to use these additional 20% of power or it is factory settings ??
Regards,

OK, here is what I find for these couple of days:
With root checker Pro I find out that I bought rooted tablet, that is great.
I find out *.cfg file that gives info which dongles are supported.
Someone experienced could tell is it possible to modify it with adding additional 3G dongles or there is more for this ???
Also, battery shutdown (actually it is not shut down, more it is cut off, like when you loose power at home) still exists but without warning for low battery and message that it is shutting down. Is it possible this tablet to have some battery error or it is just ICS ??
Please could somebody help me and give me right answers ?
Also please see attached file and tell me if it is possible to add additional dongles.
Regards,

Phone function & green button on my Qtek

Hello all,
I'm new here, have read lots of the information available, but came here looking for an answer that I haven't found yet.
Situation is the following.
I got this Qtek2020 (or XDA II) from my dad who used it for his work. The reason he stopped using it is because the "phone" function itself is kind off acting weird.
Sometimes it is just nog possible to get into phone mode, neither of the two methods make te device display the dial pad...
- hitting the green button
- going Start-> phone
(It's kind off like a non responding program in windows when you want to execute it)
To make things clear, the phone works fine if we go to contacts and then choose the option to call the contact.
The question is, does this problem seem familiar and is there a way to fix it by for example putting a new rom on the device?
Any help or input about this is greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance
I think the HARD RESET should help . After a long... long work configuration data and other settings going to be ... melted . If U don't store on devise impotrant data just remove the battery for about 20 mins .

[Q] Posibility of auto turn on Andriod when charger it's connected

I'm thinking in the possibility of use an Android tablet to develop an HMI interface to control electrical devices.
One of the problems it's that the devices could be long periods of time stored or simply off, so it will be needed to turn off the tablet via software when the device is Off.
The question if it's possible via an Android App/custom ROM/utilizing root/etc to force the Android device turn on when the charger it's connected?, an not enter with the typical battery charging screen.
Hopping that somebody can know the answer because I couldn't find something in the forums right now.
Well I am not sure but I think that you can find a custom rom that has that feature preloaded and you can develop on that platform.
Somebody known of an ROM that could have that funtionality, or somebody that develop an ROM if it could be possible to add that in android or the charging screen can't be hacked?
For the sake of completion, I have found that it's possible turn on an android device using adb, with the command:
Code:
./adb reboot
But that will imply to build the adb app in a microcontroller connected to the USB port. Certanly it will be more easy if it could be activated in a ROM but it may be impossible to do, somebody has information on that?

I have the same issue as the OP i need my tablet to come on when power is connected. (galaxy tab 2 (7) ) does anyone have any other suggestions?
I have been looking for a solution for very long. There still is no one who has guaranteed to invest time in this project. I have, however, come across a few android models which have same or similar features built in their ROM.
For example: Sony Ericsson X10 Mini does exactly what we are looking for. It turns on android OS when the charger is connected.
There are other generic android devices which perform a similar task. There is a feature in such devices namely "Schedule On/Off" which turns the phone on/off at a pre defined time of the day. A handful of devices that I have come across are Spice MI 270 and Micromax A60. There are a lot many such devices available in the market.
Do not forget to post the solution when u get one.

there was an app made by chainfire called Nomoarpowah that would boot the tablet when charging and you could touch the screen to turn on the device, i sent him a few messages over the last couple of months but no reply and it looks like he's stopped development on it.
so there is a way, i don't have the knowledge to do it myself though.
In Android 4.2 the feature is already there

Also very, very, very interested in this feature for my Galaxy Tab 2 (P3100). Was possible to do a nasty hack with playlpm on my Galaxy Tab 1 but doesn't seem to work the same way on SGT2 with CM10.1.2

[Q] Zenfone 5 problem + general Android help?

Hey guys,
I am having some problem with a recently purchased Zenfone 5. I will try to be brief, and any help is really, really appreciated.
Alright - so my phone, all of a sudden, has entered a state where I cannot do anything. All I can access is a screen similar to that of Samsung's S-view, which is intended to be active when there is a case attached. However, I do not have one attached - and as such, it appears that it may be a problem with the proximity sensor.
I don't know how this happened, but I cannot get the phone repaired as I live in Australia, and none of the repair technicians, nor Asus, seem to know anything. I was wondering if any of you friendly chaps might, then? It is extremely frustrating, as I would be able to use the phone otherwise, if it was not for this damn screen that it is displaying, which is preventing me from accessing settings and disabling it.
Also, this brings me to my second issue - I want to try to reinstall the OS, but I cannot enable USB debugging! Ah! Do any of you guys have any kind of workaround for this?
I will provide more detail as needed,
Thankyou for any help you can provide,
- dyspoid
Does anyone at least know how I can get past the "s-view" type screen so I can fix things?

[Q] anyone can confirm?

hello all.
if this is not the place for what i want, feel free to move it elsewhere.
now, i have a new phone called pulid f15, below you have some specs of the phone.
http://www.pulid.com/en/product/detail/2
i scanned the device and it found 2 viruses and i'm not sure it its true or not. so:
1. if anyone else has this brand and precisely f15, please scan it with McAfee mobile and eset mobile and see what it turns out.
2. when i charge the device with a socket and i use it at the same time, it just presses buttons on itself ( but if i charge it with the laptop and still use it at the same time, it doesn't do this anymore ). same thing, can anyone confirm this?
3. how can i get a firmware for android version 4.2.1 20130727-150605 ??
thanks, waiting for replies.

Cello T1144 Need help with ROM

Hello,
Recently I bought a tablet Cello T1144 v2 through ebay and it does not work properly. I can not connect to a wireless network. I try to turn the wireless settings on and see how the slide moves to "ON" and immediately turns "OFF". Also its sometimes reboots randomly. Before I decide that this is hardware issue, I want to reinstall Android, but I cant find ROM for this tablet.
I tried to contact Cello support and asked, but no luck -- they only said that I can send them tablet and they will reinstall it for charge. But it is very non economical for me. Maybe somebody had this tablet or can provide some useful links where I can find ROM? I would be grateful for any information about ROM for this tablet
