Google Wallet Support - Sony Xperia P, U, Sola, Go

Sorry if I don't make any sense , this is my first post.
But I wanted to know if theres anyway I can use/enable the Google Wallet Application on my Sony Xperia S as it has NFC support which is required to use Google Wallet.
I read some fourms that there is a cracked version that will work if if you install CM 7. But I wanted to know if this is true or if they are any other methods because I really want to get this to work!
Any help or information would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance!

As I know, in this moment it is impossible to use Google Wallet in other phones then a few more supported by Google. Cracked versions could be installed on other devices, also XPS, but it dosen't work. In some cases (Samsung phones) you can install cracked version, but I would avoid this - it is your money security matter. I see, that lack of GW on other devices - is Google choice. Maybe they just testing this feature and we have to wait.

yeah, suck google, release the thingy to everyone, why the wait, it's been out for awhile now.
i tried a lots of methods to install it but no go any way. but mastercard is releasing its similar wallet app very soon in which you'll be able to register any credit/bank card, not just mastercards, and there you go, go to hell google, you lost

.
I really want GW for my SXS, too

[Q] Google Wallet for Xperia S?

Hi guys, couldnt find this on the Xperia S forums anywhere, but sorry if it has already been asked...
Does anyone know if Google/Sony will eventually be releasing Wallet for the Xperia S...or if anyone is working on a patch for it to get the NFC communicating with the app properly?
Cheers for your answers in advance guys and girls!
Maybe you could get some more responses in app section. I just installed it, but I think your questions is if the NFC communication will be implemented? Maybe in ICS works without issue or maybe I am wrong. I don't even know where to try it out. But I just installed it off Market.
EDIT:Not Supported
Unfortunately, Google Wallet has not yet been certified in your country or on your device / carrier.
I have the phone , I have shops that can take NFC payment .... but why cant I pay with my phone !!!!!!!!!!!!!! GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR
Cant use google wallet , says I have no compatible devices ... dont I ?? There is a help desk for google play so I'm going to ask them !!
Sony will be using Isis client instead of Google Wallet. So whenever Isis launches, that's when we'll be able to use it
isis is fine .. but in the UK ???
Ah, bit of a bummer then...would be nice to start using the NFC for payments!

Google Wallet for Samsung Galaxy Note (AT&T)

Hello there, I was wondering if there is a way to make Google Wallet to work for the Samsung Galaxy Note. I have been searching around and installed a custom rom (Goldie) with the hopes of allowing Google Wallet to work but whenever I would open the app it would say Carrier not supported. I was wondering if anyone here would help me out, thank you.
No it doesn't work even the modded wallet.

There are MULTIPLE threads in this forum asking the same question.
The answer is NO.
The NFC chip and associated software works fine, but the encryption key is needed for it to work with Google Wallet.
AT&T will NOT allow that access until their payment system, ISIS, is up and running.
There is NO WAY to do it without AT&T.

[Q] Change Google Play location

Hi All,
When i was recently in the US i was given an HTC EVO VIEW. I have now taken it back with me to the UK but unsurprisingly my Google Play application is the US version. I am using the same Google Play account as i do on my Xperia Neo which is the UK version so the account isn't the problem.
I have factory reset the device in the UK and the 'Android Market' app that is preinstalled is still the US version (and so is the 'Google Play' app that it is updated into) which means that some apps are not available, some say they are not compatible due to location, and everything is in $$$ instead of £££.
I would greatly appreciate it if anybody knows of, or could work out, a solution. I am a bit of a novice at this so a bit more of an explanation may be needed than the avaerage person on these forums would require.
Thanks,
Matt

Help needed with iOS apps

Hi everyone, I'm working for a real estate company at the moment and they are looking to get an app running on the android platform that we can use at our open homes. There is one on the play store called Open Home Register, but its crap, I paid for it and it doesn't work that well.
There is also one on iOS called OpenHome Pro, I've been in contact with the dev, and at the moment they have no plans to release an android version.
So, my question is, if I got permission, whats the work involved porting the app, or even rewriting to work on the android system, both tablet and phone? On average how much would we be spending on a dev to help us with that?
If somebody could help me that world be great.
Also I should mention that I have permission to work on the Open Home Register app, but the way its working just doesn't make things easier for us, so I thought start again using OpenHome Pro as our base because its a much better app.
Thanks in advance guys/girls,
Evil.

[Q] Disguise Tablet as another?

Hi there!
Is there a way to disguise my Tablet (Medion Lifetab) as something different, something more common, like a Nexus 10 or Galaxy 10 or something, so I can access certain Apps from the store? Searched, but couldn't really find something.
Thanks in advance

Apps from Google Play store don't know what type of Tablet you have, it doesn't work that way. I'm just guessing here, but I think it depends what flavour of Android (Gingerbread, Jelly Bean, Kit Kat) your running and the version of the App Store your running as to what you can download. (Maybe someone with more knowledge could confirm this)
Best bet for you is to research Custom ROM's and see what is avaliable, you might be able to run CyanogenMod or something. Look for forums for your specific tab maybe google it.
Hope that helps.
** Quick Google search for "Medion Lifetab Custom ROM" brought this up, http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2097162 suggest you start learning to use the internet better ;0)
