Hi,
i buy a Tivizen Nano (Samsung Editon) DVB-T Receiver but i cant run it on Sony Tab S. It runs great on my Samsung SII and with a patched Tivizen App on my Huawei MediaPad.
Is there any way to run it also on the Sony Tab?
I test it with https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=kr.co.icube.tivizen.DvbtEuWifi&feature=search_result#?t=W251bGwsMSwxLDEsImtyLmNvLmljdWJlLnRpdml6ZW4uRHZidEV1V2lmaSJd but it doenst found the Receiver, it open only a Windows to Update but it shows no device.
And this one -for Samsung Tab- say i have no Samsung device, https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=kr.co.icube.tivizen.DvbTSamsungVcTabletWifi&feature=search_result#?t=W251bGwsMSwxLDEsImtyLmNvLmljdWJlLnRpdml6ZW4uRHZiVFNhbXN1bmdWY1RhYmxldFdpZmkiXQ..
I think, when it is possible to patch it for the Huawei, there must also a way to run it on Sony.
The patched App starts on the Sony but only with black screen, i think it is a DPI problem because when i set the Huawei to High screen resolution (160 DPI same as the Sony) it also shows only black screen. When i switch to Standard (213DPI) it runs fine.
My Sony is unrootable and so i cant switch the DPI.
I will donate, when someone can help me to run it on my Sony!!

Hi!
Does anyone have the samsung television remote tablet app?
My Tab won't see it now that I am running CM9 on it...
Its this app:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/...sMSwyLDEsImNvbS5zYW1zdW5nLnJlbW90ZVRWX1RBQiJd
That's pretty cool! Too bad I don't have a Sammy TV or player
My tab won't either. I just knew that such app exists from your post! But I guess the reason I can't install it is that my country is not supported yet.
Seems to be a great app though
I had to go back to HC (after so many time in ICS, HC is just ugly, IMO) to get this app, well, is the Samsung Smart View-Tab, but it works just like the remote only app plus DualView if your TV supports it. The remote only is supposed to be for the original GalaxyTab 7" or devices with a resolution of 1024x600.
Samsung.Smartview-Tab2.0.3
For the app to work in ICS (and maybe other non samsung tablets), first flash this in CWM (adds some samsung files): PatchSamsungView.zip, then install the app.
Do you have actual version 2.2?
I've ran a search but didn't have much luck - has anyone hacked SideSync to run on non-Samsung devices (an Xperia Z1 Compact in my case)?
If not, are there any alternatives that offer exactly the same functionality (ie totally mirroring an android device on Windows 8)?
Thanks,
*EDIT* Didn't realise Mobizen had a PC app version - I can only get it to work via a USB connection though so I'm still open to alternatives!
Support (push)
I own a tab s and a non samsung smartphone and want to use side sync .
Is this possible ? Any solutions ?
So Sony keep updating the PS4 firmware and the developers who make the APK for the remote play app cannot keep up. Does anybody have any idea how to install the Sony experia UI on a non-Sony android device so that i can make use of the remote play app? I am happy to root my samsung galaxy tab to do this. I essentially want to turn my samsung tablet into an experia device
I don't own a Tab S3 yet but I am considering buying one.
One of the required features on my list is the capability to wirelessly "mirror" or "cast" the display of my tablet onto a TV screen or projector.
Does the Tab S3 have this feature and does it work properly? (provided that the wireless network is decent)

Yes, you can cast your sceen using the Google Home app and a chromecast plugged into your TV. It works great with very little lag if any.
Thanks. I was actually looking for a solution that doesn't require an additional device. (I don't have a chromecast device and its not easy for me to get one)
Hi guys, I have tested 2 phones - one HTC and another Xiaomi running Android One up-to-date OS. Both devices are not able to find Samsung Q60 Smart TV when trying to screen cast. All the devices (phones and TV) are connected to the same WiFi network and are fully updated to the latest versions of software.
The TV is working perfectly though with Huawei running with Android 10. Also the HTC and Xiaomi are able to screen cast on Sony Smart TV. So it looks like Android One is not compatible with Samsung Q60 series smart TV, is that right ? And is there anything I can do to resolve this issue, except buying another phone/TV ?
As far as I understood from forums.androidcentral.com - Samsung Smart TVs require the device to use AllShareCast, WiDi, or Miracast to do Screen Mirroring. Android One phones run "stock" Android, which I don't think supports any of those. Is there a way to modify some system settings to change the way it is screen casting??
