Has anyone experienced on stock rom , Non-rooted, a screen flicker when using the sms app? It's very fast and random. If you blink when it happens you'll miss it.
Any ideas would be helpful.

Yes had a brief flicker. Did a factory reset and it was fixed.

Like the title says, I have reflashed and enabled and messed with settings to no avail. I can't get my lockscreen to appear. Anyone else having a problem with it?

I didn't think this was an issue for non-Samsung ROMs, but check to see if you have an /efs/imei/keystr file. If you don't, create one containing the word ON.

Try rebooting the phone at first, if that did not help do a data factory reset. After that if not solved you might reflash a stock rom. Still no remedy, take it to the shop/repair center.

Turn off power saving mode, you don't need to root the s3 it's perfect the way it is.

Am I missing something here? At what point did they even mention rooting the phone? And rooting is still the best way of disabling bandwidth hungry ads in apps.

What type of flickering? This may sound stupid, but it is a legit question. Try making a photo of it.
If it is going downwards in bar-like formation, it's the display.
If it is blinking, it is Android, or a loose connection...

The screen mode doesn't do what I want. I've tried everything on the phone already, I think there must be an app for that most probably.
When I compare my phone with the old SGS2, the SGS2 screen is kinda more blue-ish than SGS3 and I would like to have those colors on the new phone either.

The problem that I see with Lightflow is that it activates TalkBack - which is very annoying, and i had to stop using it. Instead I am now using LightManager - which is pretty good!

+1 for lightmanager, I had an issue shortly after with Gmail stopped syncing, not sure if it was related to LM, so I uninstalled.. but I miss it.
