it does not allow the app to play videos on rooted devices. I remember it was done with the netflix app so Is there anyway to bypass that so that I can play videos on the time warner cable app?

Search the galaxy 2 forums there's a modified apk there..I used it on my sensation before switching to this amaze and it worked great

I sort of did I wanted to know if your Rom was cdma compatible oh and does your port of Xbmc work properly the one from the link has major lag on almost everything I try to watch I have this on my roku and pc and now its possible for my phone I'm excited too see where this is going!
