Task Manager - Kill All without PIN query

Hi x8 owners,
I have tried a lot of Task Manager, but i haven't found workable "kill all" function because when I push it, then the phone app closes as well and I must to enter the PIN code all the time i used "kill all" option.
Interesting that some "kill all" apps works fine on first try, and do not ask the PIN code after memory clean, but after phone restart this situation changes.
Anybody knows workable solution for kill all?
What should is ignore on "kill all"?
My only chance to switch off the PIN code security and after "kill all" the phone signing in automatically. That's not a good solution for me, because i am a non-prepaid user, so i have to take care about my phone security and my bill as well.
Thank you bros.
Using task killers is not good for the system. Android has an automated ram management system. Use task killers only for rogue apps(better force close it)...
As for your problem I have no idea I don't get any pin when I used kill all(using advanced task killer free)

it happens when you close the application backup and restore, add this to ignore list and try again.

I'm glad to see your solutions, guys.
The problem is that i don't find "Backup and Restore" app or service on my SonyEricsson X8 phone with Android 1.6.
Why?
maybe you had it to ignore list...
This only happen to me if I run a task killer while USB Debugging is enabled. Try disabling it and check again.

Haha, what? You say they are bad for Android, then say you yourself use one?

I certainly don't see how they are 'bad' for the system. I kill off apps that could potentially using up my credit in the background to download ads. And, you know, when you use a computer you don't leave every single program open, and wait for the system to automatically kill it when it needs more ram.
Why use an app to kill apps, anyway? Android comes with a perfectly capable applications manager.
better you see the android flowchart system first, android can kill your app when it's very needed like when your memory is too low
use advance task manager
Try A+ Elite Task killer
Works great on my X8

Nice Thank you Dread .
What can. I say.......nice.......good work dread
sent from a nuclear explosion
Thanks ..looks good
I will give it a shot.
Looks very useful.
Thank you!
Looking Good. Thank you Dread.
I have the following feedback & requests and would be grateful for your consideration.
I am seeing duplications on the "Category Def" view. Is this expected?
Would it be possible to add an option to kill on screen off with a user configurable delay?
I use Facebook for Android and would like to be able to kill it and its processes when I am not actively using it.
Would it be possible to have seperate lists:
White List: Do not kill.
Black List: Kill
Would it be possible for the lists to have the same look as the initial views. i.e show icon and friendly name and package name, not just package name as it is now?
Thanks

Yes, seeing duplicates in the "Category Def" is normal. What you are seeing here are individual processes for an APK. For example; you can access hidden settings by selecting APNs in com.android.settings or Advanced Settings in the same apk. I added this category in case you can't find the app if it isn't launcher visible.
Here is more information on it (Intent.CATEGORY_DEFAULT): http://developer.android.com/reference/android/content/Intent.html#
Right now there isn't an option to kill on screen off with a user configurable delay, but it may be something I add in the future if there is enough demand for such a feature.
All the other things you have mentioned are indeed possible and something I may end up doing. I just found it super convenient (coding wise) to have just one list and let the user select if it is included or excluded.

RecorderThe recorder app built into the Honor 8 is very simple to use. You have REC, Pause and Stop controls. Some recorders have a tendency to over complicate the process by adding too many additional features. The stock recorder here seems to strike a perfect balance.
ThemesCustomize your system down to the very last detail. The easy to use theme engine built into the Honor 8 gives you a bunch of possibilities from custom icons, wallpapers, animations, font styles and more. Mess around with it to create your own theme, or import themes from the Play store.
Phone ManagerThe phone manager is a very clever app that manages all sorts of activities on your phone. It will scan your system and close out of apps to keep your phone running at an optimal speed. You can also manage your harassment filters, white listed apps, pin locked apps, notifications and much more.

I like the steps counter.
The remote control app looks really useful but haven't tried it yet.
So far so good. These are useful apps (Atleast I think they are) Are there any bloatware?

The only "bloat" I found when I received my phone was apps that led to customer support, store page, and other Honor webpages. But these can be easily removed by uninstalling. Other than that there isn't much. There is this included Mirror app which I don't really find useful when I found just use the camera app as a mirror.
The remote control app is wonderful! It has more brands than I can count in an hour (no, I haven't tried). So far I have it set up to both the TV and the sattelite receiver. I think I'll try it on the floor fan next time.

Proper way to tackle and resolve “Excessive network usage (background)”

Problem Background
Currently, we have facing "Excessive network usage (background)" from Android Vital report. We're only " Better than 9% "
The app is a note taking app (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.yocto.wenote), which provides an optional feature - sync to cloud in background after the app close.
This is how we perform sync to cloud in background.
We use WorkManager.
In Application onPause, Schedule OneTimeWorkRequest, with constraint NetworkType.CONNECTED. The worker is scheduled to start with delay 8 seconds.
In case failure, we retry using BackoffPolicy.LINEAR, with delay time 1.5 hours.
The maximum number of retry is 1 time. That's mean, after the app close till the app re-open again. The maximum number of execution, of sync to cloud process is 2.
The size of data is vary, can be few KB till few hundred MB.
Analysis
The only information we have is https://developer.android.com/topic/performance/vitals/bg-network-usage .
When an app connects to the mobile network in the background, the app wakes up the CPU and turns on the radio. Doing so repeatedly can run down a device's battery. An app is considered to be running in the background if it is in the PROCESS_STATE_BACKGROUND or PROCESS_STATE_CACHED state. ... ... ... Android vitals considers background network usage excessive when an app is sending and receiving a combined total of 50 MB per hour while running in the background in 0.10% of battery sessions.
Click to collapse
We start the background sync job, 8 seconds after Application's onPause. During that period, will the app inside or outside PROCESS_STATE_BACKGROUND/PROCESS_STATE_CACHED? How can we avoid running inside PROCESS_STATE_BACKGROUND/PROCESS_STATE_CACHED?
What does it mean by "running in the background in 0.10% of battery sessions."? How can we avoid such?
Another assumption, is sync file is too large, and using too much data. Soon, we notice this assumption might not be true. We notice according to "Hourly mobile network usage (background)", the data size is from 1MB to 5MB.

Questions
My questions are
What is the actual root cause for such "Excessive network usage (background)" warning? How can we accurately find out the root cause.
How does other apps (Like Google Photo, Google Keep, Google Doc, ...) which perform background sync, tackle this problem?
