I wonder if this update is the reason why HTC pulled the update from their website?
Where did this come from? Was this pulled from a new RUU? Are there new radios?

I knew 605.10 wasn't going to be the ota because the brightness settings couldn't be changed from the quick settings brightness settings in the notification shade. Hopefully they fixed it in 605.12.
Yeah where is this from? There's no trace of that version number anywhere on the Internet...

Do the stock leaks have Quick Settings? I thought that was a feature added by the devs. It's been awhile since I played with a untouched leak.
There is an ruu but like unsaid in the op. 2 changes wasn't anything special which is y I just did the Rom. Same radios, just crap fixes

Kernel & radios (of course) all the same. Looks like the only thing changed from 3.14.605.10 is the build number. Same hboot, or is this just the ROM?

If you just installed this rom, it wouldn't upgrade the radios anyway, you need the full leak to see if anything changed with the radios and/or hboot. I'm guessing no though given the comments in the OP.
So far so good. Running well. Thanks.

I strongly suspect this is all bs.
I can't find any links to a new 3.14.605.12 ics leak for the rezound.
I don't believe it exists.

Every area I go where I know I used to have strong 3g, now my phone only ever says 1x and data speed matches. I'm running team XRON rc1. Anyone know why my 3g is gone? And/or know how i can fix it?
Any help is appreciated.

Stock rom doesn't show 1x. Ever. Custom roms do.
I realize that.. but I know I actually was on 3g before and now I am not. This isn't my first phone/custom rom.

I believe it is a mod done in the SystemUI.apk. Look here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1208898
Edit** Maybe a kernel issue? I remember having the same issue on my EVO 4G with downloading roms and/or radios. What radio are you using?

Just the stock one I assume, unless the rom flashed something different. I'll have to flash another rom to see if it fixes it. I have seen the systemui edits that have borked 3g but I've ruled that out in my case.

The latest CDMA radio is 0.97.10.0530. Look in Baseband version is Settings and see what you have. If you have the older one, you can find the latest here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1192661
I haven't seen any roms that include the radio. You usually have to manually update that yourself...

One more thing: If you haven't done it since flashing to Xron RC1, update your Profile in System Updates. I have seen others with signal/message issues after a root and fresh rom install...

Just a heads up that I updated my Honeycomb Leak Install guide to cover a new leak I have managed to get my hands on, version 3.41.405.1.
Full details can be found in this topic.
Unfortunately you will need to roll back to Gingerbread in order to install it.

The hboot changed, the radio changed, the kernel changed and appears to be incompatible, all the methods I tried this morning to 'get it on' failed.

So if we have a bestbuy flyer that can't rollback to gingerbread, then we won't be able to upgrade correct?

Awesome! Notice any big differences yet? Does your source have any idea how close this beta is to final? I was too chicken to install the previous leak, but I might man up for this one...

Ok, I may be barking at the wind here but, is there a way to flash the required components thru fast boot commands (I am not sure if this can be done on the Flyer like it can on the Dell Streak 5) where you would use fast boot commands to flash the individual extracted components, base rom, recovery, radio, etc similar to adb. (since there is currently no proper method for US BB WiFi Flyers to revert to GB)
Cheers

Agreed, people are working on this (Including Paul) I have no doubt that the issues will be figured out and we will get past the current problems. In the meantime, we discuss and help where possible. There is even talk of a possible hybrid version. Bottom line, this will get figured out.
cheers

CleanROM 2.0 ICS Edition can be found here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=21568953
This thread is now CLOSED!
How to flash
Place ROM on SD Card
You must extract boot.img and flash via fastboot. If you dont know how to do that i have CleanFLASH that will do it for you here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1416791
This should leave you in fastboot so you then need to boot to recovery!
WIPE ALL DATA. DO NOT ASK IF YOU CAN RESTORE FROM BACK UP!
Flash ROM
PROFIT!
Reserved yet again
Sweet, and can't wait to see what you come up with.

Its an engineering build and HIGHLY unstable. While it may be fun to play with, its nothing to get excited about. This just tells us how far away they are from releasable ICS...

I know this is an early leak and we can't expect much, but any idea on whether these leaks take advantage of hardware acceleration like ICS is supposed to? Thanks in advance Scott!
This is the leak in flashable format?
There is the issue of downgrading though.

i took bunch of the verizon crap out... took out the HTC lockscreen... I like the ICS better (for Now) .... Are the reboots just because its unstable or because its been set to do it by default for whatever unknown reason?

What I *think* is because we needed an updated radio. Thats just my first guess and only a guess.
I am sure there are a lot of bugs in it to. WiFi and text messages do work however.
I know, I know, another ICS update thread, but hear me out. AT&T is allegedly rolling out the update tomorrow (July 10th). Since this is being reported by The Verge, and they have had hands-on time with the update, I trust that the July 10th date is accurate. Here's the link to the source:
http://www.theverge.com/2012/7/9/3146884/att-samsung-galaxy-note-android-40-update-video-photos
P.S. Please don't bash me if the update doesn't come tomorrow, I'm just the messenger!
Its on android central too.
Some people said it's already out on kies, I'm not home or I would check
it's true!!!!

Hey guys. I'm just wondering if there is a major advantage of moving up to the new .12 software when I'm already on the .10 version (the previous leak). I had done the RUU for the last leak, so I have the newest radios and firmware. I don't really want to RUU again, just cause of the clearing of the internal SD. Is it ok to stay on this sw version? Will I be able to load roms that are based on the OTA or will I have to update first?
