Ok, I'll try to be short about this.
I did the RegawMOD method and was able to install Liquid Smooth on the phone. (1.45)
When I was going to install an update for that things when odd. (I always back up, reset and wipe before hand)
The update didn't take however I was able to the home screen. As it was weird I went back to restore and the Trwp did not back up correctly. The file was bad.
I was able to get back to the home screen and then setup my phone. I decided to wait for a while until the roms grew up a bit.
Now I was going to install Mean 1.4 today so I downloaded as the post said and installed the radio. Downloaded the rom. When into recovery backup, reset and wiped. When I tried to flash the rom TWRP just started rebooting.
I have tried it several times and also tried to recover and TWRP keeps rebooting. Now I am stuck on the HTC screen.
What do I do now? I feel the recovery is bad.
Any help greatly appreciated.
Maybe a bad recovery flash or corupt download.. Try reflashing recovery through fastboot, download the ROM again, do a FULL wipe and reflash the ROM.

Thankfully I was able to install an earlier backup so at least I am running now. I have tried using Goo Manger to reinstall twrp 2.2. Just stays stuck at the download.
I haven't used the fastboot method before so I'll have to look that up. I want to get to mean 1.4 as included the OTA fixes because I have the wifi issue. Guess I'll have to wait until I have more time.
Thanks for the help.
Ok so I got goo manager to reflash the recovery.
Now I am on mean 1.4 and very happy. No more WiFi issues either!
Finally as useable as my OG EVO and dandy like this phone was ment to be.
Thanks for the help and thanks developers.
Very cool.

Hi all
I'm not new to flashing but I'm new to flashing cm7.
I odin back to stock jfd eclair. Root and Install CWM 2.xxx. I downloaded the stable cm7 and I started flashing. (after I wipe data/cache of course)
IN recovery, it said finding package, opening package, then my phone processed a series of lines and reboot automatically. On the startup, it says VIBRANT SAMSUNG, then GALAXY S CYANOGEN(mod) then the same recovery screen with many lines. It moved too fast into another reboot I couldn't read what was on the screen. And it kept doing this for quite 10 mins now.
Is it normal? if not, what did I do wrong? I can get into download mode and odin back to stock but I did it last night and I couldn't think what i did wrong.
Please help!
Hmmmm..... seems a bit wierd, try going into recovery and wiping and reinstalling with a new download.

This happened to me also, I went directly back to recovery, 3 button, and reflashed. Worked the second flash for some reason.
Thanks. I turn it off, get into recovery again, and re flash it successfully

Hi guys. So here's my problem. I recently tried to update my phone to the latest version of NRG's Energy Rom using CWM. In the process I did a factory data wipe, and wiped the dalvik cache. I then flashed the rom as normal, but when I rebooted all I got was the white screen with the green HTC logo. It refuses to go any further. I can still get into recovery if needed, and I've tried a ton of different things, but to no avail. Anybody have any ideas as to what I need to do or is this thing hosed?
The phone is S-ON at the moment with an unlocked bootloader.
Any help is appreciated.

Flash the wipe script, flash the rom you wanted, when the phone boots up, let it sit for a few minutes, like 10 should be good.
Well I'll be damned. I could have sworn I tried that, but there we go. Thank you so much for the help.

Also, get rid of CWM and use 4ext recovery. It's in the dev section... And its the preferred recovery by most amaze users. I have a thread in Dev section
It allows you to flash kernel automatically when flashing ROM, that way you don't have to use a kernel flasher. Plus many other features.

Thanks for the info. I've been looking at recent posts and it seems I'm behind on a few things, including getting s-off.
Weird Problem
I had the same problem but I don't want to lock and re-unlock my bootloader. And this has never happened but my CWM Recovery isn't working. I didn't use 4ext bc this happened last time with that recovery. Is there any way to find the wipe script to use it from fastboot?
Tried kernel flashing; re-flashing recovery...second time this happened with s-on on speed rom
Had to re-wipe phone and re-flash everything...Got it working again! Weird problem though?!?!
My thunderbolt got stuck in boot loop about a week later after flashing Liquid ICS MR3V1. If I attempt to reboot the phone numerous times it will eventually boot up and work fine. The phone will not allow me to get into recovery - it will just go into boot loop once recovery is selected. I did manage to get the phone to go into recovery one time and I wiped everything and installed an infected eternity rom that I have been running for a long time without any issues. I thought I was okay once I flashed this rom but when I restarted the phone it went into the boot loop sequence again. Currently after 15+ attempts at starting the phone I got it to boot up without the SD card. I rooted my thunderbolt through revolutionary...if it matters?
From reading other threads it appears I need to install an RUU? Can I just install a RUU that will not un root my phone or do I need to change my modded Hboot, go back to s on and unroot? I flashed roms numerous times without issues and I always wipe multiple times and I am not sure what happened here. Unfortunately I do not have any backups to revert back to -- since I read flashing an RUU without the proper steps can brick my phone I wanted to seek advice to make sure I do it properly.
ys RUU can help you . just my own thought.
good luck to you

Sounds like something is just wrong with you recovery. Try flashing another recovery. Also, IF you're using the boot manager app, it may be acting up. If the boot manager app is on your phone, I'd recommend removing it.

Do you mean try re installing cwm? I currently can't get into cwm because it goes into the boot loop sequence. I will try this later tonight and see if it helps. I do not have a boot manager app, I believe when I rooted through revolutionary it modifies hboot? (I have been rooted for over a year now withoutproblems)

No, boot manager is just an application from the play store.
Yes, try downloading cwm recovery again.

Update - I reinstalled CWM and got the phone into recovery, and did a reset, wiped everything and got stuck in boot loop. I eventually got the phone to boot up and I deleted a couple roms, etc in my download folder. After this was done I power cycled the phone twice without any issues.
I unlocked my bootloader, flashed with Trickdroid, found some bug, then I decided to try the Renovation HD Rom. Got frozen during Aroma twice. Then I rebooted twice. Now my device is half-bricked. I can't get into recovery anymore. Tried CWM, TWRP. doesn't work. everytime I tried to get in recovery, it will just jump to the HTC screen. and after the HTC screen, it will reboot itself, and keep looping...
I want to try to restore using RUU, but there is NO RUU for AT&T version now.
I can't get in recovery, I can't get in the system.... I am stuck. Hopeless now.
Am I the first to brick a HTC ONE?
After 5 hours of struggling, IT got into the recovery again!!!!!!!!! didn't know what I did to make it work. and flashed with Renovation HD Rom and working now.
Update: If you keep getting boot loop, or can't get into recovery, try the ALL IN ONE kit and use the "erase cache", that fix my problem, and I learned it the hard way..

Can you still get into Fastboot?
Use android debugging USB push over image may need to add time delay to allow next available time there is an opening to load image.
Good luck

Hi I am a complete noob and just got my HTC one and went way to fast with rooting my phone and may have a bricked phone as well. I unlocked the bootloader and flashed the clockwork mod recovery using the all in one kit. I proceeded to boot into the bootloader, and then went into the recovery. I backed up my phone at the point using clock work mod. I then wiped my phone to factory settings and wiped the cache. At that point I forgot that I had not put my ROM that I wanted to use on the phone storage. So i pressed reboot now. Obviously this was a mistake because there is nothing on the phone to boot off of. Now I have an HTC One that is not turning on no matter what I do and I have no idea where to start. Anybody know where I can start? It is also worth mentioning that I made another noob mistake by starting this process with 35% on my phone so is it possible that it is out of battery and not able to charge?
Charge battery copy ROM to SD card press volume up and power look for clockwork mod recovery go to SD card and install rom . Hopefully nothing more is required. Don't panic if clockworkmod is giving you brick sign usually its a sign you have wrong clockwork mod installed.

I'm having a bit of an issue with my phone.
I was running alliance ROM build 30 since it was released. A week or so ago i wanted to try cm12. So I flashed octos.
It flashed fine and it runs fine, but I still can't seem to "get into" asop. Just seem to keep wanting touch whiz again.
So I went to restore my backup of alliance and it fails right away. I'm using philz recovery. I've also tried twrp and no change.
So I went to do a clean install of alliance and it flashed fine, but it won't boot. It hangs at the boot screen.
So I tried to flash another touch whiz ROM and it did the same thing. Just won't boot.
But it does not boot loop, it justs gets to the boot animation and stays there until I take out the battery.
So far I'm able to get any asop ROM to work fine, but only one touchwhiz. And even then the touchwhiz ROM was really slow and force closed apps a lot (maybe the ROM, maybe not, I'm not sure).
So any help is greatly appreciated.
Odin back to stock?
Haven't tried that yet.
I assume I would have to use the MC3 file right?
So I can re root and unlock again.
It appears that there isnt any files that I can download.
Everything I can find is no longer available
Well I found the odin file.
Ran it now my phone is really screwed. It said it ran successfully but when it went to boot, it just flashes the galaxy note 2 screen.
Now every time I try to flash it in Odin it fails right away.
Bump. I tried to run the odin file again and it still fails.
Im back om my old phone for now so i have some time to figure this out.

You should have just used a custom kernel. It would boot with AGNI fine. My phone is doing the same thing yours was, IE not booting touchwiz roms. AGNI always works to have it boot correctly. Now, though, you have a different problem which is you probably flashed the wrong ODIN file and might have bricked the phone.
I've used this odin file before with success though.
I couldn't find any files to download at first, but then I remembered that I had them on my computer still from a long time ago.
I figured out if you load MochaDrizzle ROM, then after booted, download the app called FOLDERMOUNT. Run it with root access and it will 'fix' a broken permission. Next load Int-SDCard Writer and hit the Download (extra fix) button and then Fix Me buttons. THen reboot. Now you should be able to re-load stock roms and have them boot.
SHEESH!
