I tried porting this rom to my venue...flashed it with CWM it didn't work...started to boot loop...so flashed cm7 nightly back again

Yes you can.
The baseband; you can change it.
Go to the thread and follow n0p's insyructions. It only takes a few minutes. If you have any specific questio ns come back and ask, and in any case tell us how did it go

It dosent hav drivers installed for my streak
So now I am not able to upgrade my rom
