Best stock apps? - Galaxy S III Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

What are the best stock apps on the S3?
I like S memo. S voice. And dropbox of course.
But I am yet to test them all. What do u all think? Any known bugs?

hehe, subjective for all users , for me it is definitely CALENDAR WIDGET that is placed in size of 4x2 to my homescreen as plenty of appointments every day 3-4 months in advance

There is a keyboard and Sms app that support Emoji, can you port it to GS2

Hello,
Some develper here in xda made the stock keyboard and Sms apps support emoji for the GS3
can someone please help port it to our GS2 please.
The keyboard : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1929771
The sms : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1922104
Thanks.
I'm sure a dev will have that ready for you by tomorrow (given devs generally have nothing better to do than sit around & wait for requests from lusers )
wow, great answer
I don't understand how you became a Senior Member with 1235 people thanking you.
because all I see is a looser who think he is better than everybody else. and you want to get paid for your themes and tweeks
get out of your parents basment and get a job loser.
and I didn't ask for this port for me only, people ask here all the time so developers "REAL DEVELOPERS" can help other people.
no thanks to you.
But they do not accept orders for things like this. They have no time for it.

So flashing it that way won't work.
And the MMS app you mentioned is an app which was modified by Smando and created for stock only.
Stock is not equal CyanogenMod.

I want my phone to be faster and faster, Updates in my phone and make it smoother, and wait can i ask, do i need to jailbreak/ rooted my phone?
Can i have the link for the updates and tweaks?
Do what i do to all my friends gs3.
First root your phone. Then install any Jelly bean rom. I suggest omega 29.
You can find the how to on the posts here in the forum. Use the search.
For a fast gs3, most impotant thing. Change your launcher. Touchwiz is a memory eater i install nova for everyone.
Then disamble s voice. And be happy with lightning fast gs3
All my friends love what i do with theyre phones.

You don't have to uninstall TouchWiz launcher and infact you'll still keep TW features like swipe left or right shortcuts in your contacts/call log, etc. But all you need to do is install a new launcher from the Play Store and you will have the option to use as default if you want.
Nova is nice ..Holo is almost identicle but a little newer. Holo HD for Jelly Bean
If you want to improve your smartphone.. you have a lot of ways to do that. Google can help give you ideas but rooting in general opens the door to a lot of possibilities. Best bet is to take some time.. a lot if time and read about rooting, and apps that can extend the functionality of your device !
Oh and please post in the correct section. Questions belong in Q&A.

thanks a million...but I cant install it. do I need rooted phone? sorry for this question....I am just beginner....my first android
How can you delete the stock email app if you are not even rooted? Maybe you just hid the icon. If you are using the TW launcher there is an option there to hide/unhide applications on the appdrawer.

You'd better use random s2 aosp dump, because nexus is 720p and you'll need to rescale apps if you take them from nexus. S2 has the same screen resolution as our device so you don't have to rescale graphics.
