Is it.possible to connect to carriers in china and korea? Im on telus

You'll have to sim unlock first and then get a local prepaid sim, and I'm pretty sure atleast Korea uses the same bands so you'd theoretically be able to get lte there, China would most likely only have the band for hspa at best.
You should have the T-mobile modem and the LF6 modem as CWM flashable zips so you can change your modem to suite the carrier.
It would be good idea to research and find the cirrect APN settings too. For example South Korea has KT as the prepaid sim carrier.
Save the screenshot so you can input them once the sim is in:

Hello XDA!
Just got my brand new Samsung GS3 just over a week ago and the first thing I see when I boot it up is the branded Telecom boot animation and I almost rage quit because I was never told that I was getting a branded model. I have flashed XXALE8 stock ROM and XXLE8 MODEM to get rid of the branded bloatware.
Now there's two questions I have:
1) I have heard rumours that the GT-I9300T has a preference for the 850mhz band over other bands, now assuming this is true, is this software based or hardware based?
2) Where can I find bootloaders for the GT-I9300? I want to change to a GT-I9300 bootloader, the current bootloader I have is I9300TDUALE6.
Information about the phone is found using play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.curvefish.apps.deviceinfo
Here's a screenshot if you need more info.

Bump
I was in the Testing menu(*#*#4636#*#*) having a look around and I saw this under the options of preferred network type:
View attachment 1581152
I then tried it on a SGH-T999(T-Mobile GS3) and the same options came up:

Would this mean that LTE is available on the I9300 too and not just the I9305(and whatever other variants that are advertised to support LTE)?

Interesting are you in a lte area? Enable an see what goes?

I live in Ireland so I don't think there's any LTE/4G, I'll enable it for a bit and see how it goes.
EDIT: Lets me choose every option with LTE aside from LTE only, when I select it I get put back to the default setting.

No, the I9300 doesn't have the hardware for LTE, and Ireland the infrastructure. Don't be silly.
Can't find a straight answer. Some say yes some don't know.
Anyone here knows?

My service provider supports VoLTE but I have no such settings in my phone. Maybe I can activate through the service menu.
Anyone know how I could get to this page
This screen
My AT&T version has a setting for Enhanced 4G LTE services, which is not present on my SM-G925F model, so I am not getting VoLTE on the International version. I am also not sure if I am getting all of the proper frequency band support and the special bonded 4G LTE channels AT&T has, but I am getting LTE at least. But no HD Voice or VoLTE on the International version right now.
not sure if its Bakeey or yam version says on settings LD903_AIJIA_I5S, issue i have is i may have bought the wrong phone as it says 2G now i know 2G no longer online however having a multi band sim so if u have a 5g phone the sim card backward compatible for 4g so 3g should be backward compatible with 2g. when i put sim card in a sometimes get T-mobile UK and it picks up some texts msgs. but cannot make phone calls. is there a way to format the OS to upgrade to a higher band. like 3g or 4g. or is the MB hot-wired to run on 2G only. I apologize if this is not in the right forum please move if required. thanks
closets info i can get on device is this

This will sound silly.. But check your plan and make sure it supports 5G... At&t is weird about this stuff...
The n200 doesn't support 5G on AT&T, only T-Mobile in the US. @NOSS8's image indicates that.
I am just curious... What bands are they missing? Lol. T-Mobile and AT&T'sNetworks are extremely similar for everything up to 4G LTE+ (cough... 5Ge for.AT&T). Did AT&T take a different route with real 5G?
