It worked for me when I was in US...to make it work in other countries you can try using market enabler and droidvpn(I'm not sure if that's gonna work though but worth a shot)

Market Enabler did not help, I've tried that already tried proxy as well, no go :-(

Gallery works fine...change the permissions to rw,r,r before copying it to system/app

I did that, but it didn't install after reboot?
Just did it again and still nothing? Is it's name correct? Can you post the link on here so I can make sure I've got it right please?

Sorted it, there's 2 links for the gallery in pg1, i had the wrong one!

Take gallery.apk from the first post....should work after that;-)
