I've tried flashing the Beats Audio zip before on stock ROM, and it ruined my earpiece. I was stupid and didn't make a backup, so I had to reinstall the whole ROM. You can try, but make sure you make a nandroid backup.

Make sure it's for sense 3.6 and grab the ext.jar file from the thread in the apps section also, cause if you don't, your data will be screwed.

[Q] Rooted Droid Eris -Revert to Sense Lockscreen from Nexus Lockscreen

Hi, I'm a new root user, and I was trying to get LiveWallpapers to work on my rooted Droid Eris. I flashed the .zip file and the package apparently came with the Nexus Lockscreen also. I later discovered that LiveWallpapers just won't work on a Sense ROM, but I'd like to revert back to the Sense Lockscreen if possible. Can anyone help me with this? Thanks.

You can also pull HtcLockScreen.apk out of your rom's zip file and push it to /system/app/
Will this just revert back to original factory settings?
Oh, I guess i used the Stock Android 2.1 w/ Root Access.
Perhaps I should just load different ROM.
I found the HtcLockScreen.apk in the zip file, and threw it on my SD card, but i'm not sure what to do now. I tried using eoeAppInstaller but it said Install not successful. Not sure I quite understand what you mean by pushing the file to /system/app/

no need to put it on your sd card its useless there if im correct and if anyone more professional than me can verify you need to use command promt to run the adb app in your android sdk file and if thats the case search the threads for adb to answer your question
try here there are several that are based on sense and will let u set livewallpaper and have the slide lock that you seek just read up on them

FYI...just do a dirty flash - re-flash the rom with just a cache/dalvik clear. you won't have to set everything back up.
Modified the rom and i dont have the file i flashed again. I really just need that ringtonepicker.apk.
There is a method to my madness. If all else fails i will just reflash kingcobra 1.7 and re-do my mods, but its such a simple .apk replace that i cant believe nobody can do it.
Im about to flash an old nandroid just to pull that .apk, then reload my current backup just to put in that .apk.
But if someone could just up that file it would save me some hassle.

Sorry, but I am on CDMA so I would think the apk would be different for GSM. Here are the ringtone apks - just not sure if they will work on GSM.

Redownload the ROM you have, pull the ringtonepicker.apk out of the ROM. You've been told how to do it 4 times, I can't believe you can't do it.
We aren't here to do the work for you bud..

Lost sense clock. Any one have the apk widget download?

It's the big sense clock with weather.
Could someone kindly give me the apk download?
I deleted it by accident with titanium backup pro.

What are you talking about??? If you re-flash your rom then it shouldn't wipe your data at all unless it's an RUU.
And you didn't bother to do a backup with titanium before deleting the file?
How about a clockwork or TWRP backup?
Always make a backup!

Extract it from your .zip file and push it to /system/apps? I don't see why that wouldn't work... But if you haven't tweaked any of the views or styles, reflashing your rom doesn't wipe your data or erase apps. Just clear cache and dalvik, flash, reboot.

Yeah I don't even know which file it is exactly. It's so much easier to just re-flash the freaking rom. He should have it saved on his sdcard or at least his computer.
Here's a few good tips!
Always make a backup before making any changes!
Always keep your rom .zip file with you in case you need to reflash.
Every once in a while backup your sdcard (internal and external) to your computer just in case of corruption.
Have some kind of security in case it's lost or stolen.
Keep a spare battery or usb cable and/or charger while going on an extended trip.
If you don't do any of those you're begging to post another "help me" thread.
Or you could use the fancy widget pro app. That's what I used to get the sense clock on aosp roms.

Is there any way to delete a mod without having to restore a backup or having to flash the whole rom again ?
this is the mod i wish to uninstall btw: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1997919
PD: OP has not provided any cwm flashable zip file to uninstall, is there any workaround to delete all rom-related files ?
The only way I could think of is to open the mods zip and see what files it replaces, then just replace all of them in your phone with stock ones.
Just make sure to backup and wipe caches incase of problems.

Flashing zip file with apps+data

I'm going to make a flashable zip file with TiBackup that will contain all my apps and data from those apps. No sys apps of course.
When I want to flash that file, do I flash it right after I flash the rom while I'm still in Recovery, or right after the first boot?
