Hello guys
I am owning Galaxy S I and can upgrade in June to S II.
I need Call Recorder app to record both sides with good quality.
Could you check please if any application form market records a decent quality calls. If not, do you think it is possible in futuer to have this option on SII
I am using Juve 1.9 on S I and Phone.apk with automatic call recording which works perfect.
Cheers
I would also like to know this.
All call recorder doesn't work. it says your phone doesn't support recording the other party.
I think the kernel will need to be tweaked to allow it like on my HD2
hi im already try totalrecall last v with strategy A the surprise is that other sides part of any call recorded very well but my voice not recorded at all ,i dont know what is the matter im usually hopes to record other side but now with s2 my hope is my voice !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
hopefully from xda dev can help us ???????????
thanks in advance
u can use totalrecall call recorder, it can record all your incoming & outgoing calls. lot of settings are there which you can set according to ur preference. just go to ipmart-forum & search it in android apps....
i hope it helps ur query.
It is not available now but I think it is very easy to modify the Kernel to be able to record two-way calls. Now I have exams, and there is no recovery menu for the SGS2 yet. But as soon as I finish my exams I will be working on this issue. I should have call recorder on my sgs2

really u are the great man works well for me 2 sides but on i hope other thing to find another program indicates call id from phone book ..............
wowwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww
really thanks i love s2 so much now......................
I tried TotalRecall and I cant seem to figure out how to make it record both my own voice and the person I'm talking to.
When I make a call it only records the voice of the person I'm talking to.
Any ideas what I'm doing wrong?

Can you check if call recording works when headphones are attached ?
That call recorder app (greenandroid icon) does seem to work with headset plugged in too so it ISNT using the speaker phone to record. Awesome!

Guys can you really record both sides with good quality???
Are the both sides loud enough???
Can someone provide the link to this app pls? Can't find it on the market.
If so I am buying Galaxy II next week!
Cheers
Yes it really works with great quality.
Only thing to note is if you reduce the volume during a call, the recorded volume goes down too but is still clear. And as I said above, it isn't using the mic to record other party from speaker. Its captured directly.

Just search 'callrecorder' by dsoft in the market

Anything better?
For sure, there must be something better out there, even if it is not free? I used to have Resco on my HD2 and works fine, with several option and the best of all was the ability to rename the audio files based on the recipient/callee's number and hence making it easy to search or archive. Plus there were several configurable options!
Sorry but I am new to Android and with 200.000 apps, this should out there....!

Work perfect, without lossing touch functionality.
Sent from my GT-I9100 using Tapatalk
@rothariger It is possible that the lack of touch input is related to problems with the cables/AC power/wiring (power in general), seen some posts about the touchscreen not working with some badly wired chargers etc.
Thanks for the info.

Dude I only make voice calls and I don't think that u can make video calls through Skype cuz u need front camera which is not there in o1!! Buy HTC sensation!!!

@ayazm: using official skype we cannot make video calls.. using that mod it is possible.. but it is not working properly .. may be some bug..
It needs to be properly modded to use back camera in our device, otherwise the modded version is useless

Hi i have a question, it's possible to make normal skype calls with the 3g? i tried but the voice laggs like crazy and it's impossible to call. with wifi no problems.
is there a solution? it's a rom thing or else ?
It depends how fast ur 3g is. But one thing for sure, speed of 3g can nvr beat speed of wifi

Has any one else tried it out facing the same problem....I'm on orange and also rang them today and they done a few data tests and say there is no reason why it shouldn't work.

It doesn't work for me either. Don't know why but don't really ever use it do not really a buggy for me. Have you spoken to Samsung support?
Sent from my GT-I9300T
ive never actually used the video call on my s3 but i do know on a number of other phonea such as the iphone and nokias that its better if you use a wi-fi network for video calls like skype and that because the mobile internet isnt fast enough for it to work perfectly.
Sent from my GT-I9300 using xda app-developers app
I have tried the GSM network video call (ie. not using skype, gtalk etc) and it works as normal. I'm in Australia with Vodafone.
to make a video call using built in app both the caller and receiver should have 3g services activated and set the mobile to wcdma mode
where is the video call option?
try switching from gsm only to wcdma only or auto mode.
settings > more settings > mobile network > network mode
im on us version. does that make a difference?
Is this network dependent? Does the phone call the party's number? Or how does this work? Will it support SIP video calling?
Hello All,
I moved to LG Optimus G from Samsung Note, and I lost the ability to record calls.
on Galaxy Note I require a custom ROM to have the ability to record the phone conversation both two sides (not thought the internal MIC)
Any one know how to do this in this device?
Thanks
