Have you tried uninstalling the app, then re-installing?

Never had that issue.. I know some folks said google was still working on it.. I had issues with it sayin I had no apps... Also saying I didn't pay for things lol.. Even tho I did.. So I cleared the data for it and it worked fine...
Drives me crazy, I tried to searchbar an app, after 5 connection re tries I did a hard reset and it works, which is good. But I shouldn't have to do that. Just annoying. Lol

Have you tried clearing the data for it under applications in the settings menu?
Go into manage applications on your settings. Look for Google play store and clear data. Download this Google play apk http://lts.cr/Be2R
Install it and that should fix your problem.

Is there a place where I can download the APK and re-install the Messaging app ?, thanks
Try clearing cache first to see if that fixes it.

Wipe cache and data for play store.
You could also try installing from the website.

I found the fix. Aparently this is a problem with the play store. you only get the error code with free apps. Paid apps work and updates as well. You go to accounts and sync in system settings. Unsync and sync your google account...reboot. If that doesnt do it,delete your google acct and sign back in. Wah lah. Worked for me
I've had that issue pop up in the past but it always seemed to resolve itself.

Sometimes the "error processing" issue is persistent. If that happens, wipe cache and data for Google Play and also for Google services framework. Fixes the issue every time. =)

Does anyone have a permanent fix for this code? I'm running rooted stock and it seems every other day I've got to clear the play store and reboot to get around it.

I just had this error code tonight. Remove your Google account. Reboot. Add your Google account back in.
Found that online and worked for me 2 hours ago.

Will give two methods.
1. Clear data of play store and play services
Settings-> Play store and play services-> Clear Data
2. Remove your account and add again..
After removing clear data of play store as well as play services..
