Something crazy went on with my battery last night!?! I left it downloading Max Payne game data and it looks like the screen was on all night. Still 7 hours screen on time isn't bad for the regular Razr!
Stock Moto ICS Rooted.
This is mine, not from the last cycle though. I will update pic tonight.

here :good:
I had battery extender set I'm smart actions and found that it was actually killing me battery

It's easy to overlap commands using Smart Actions and other saving apps. Damn it's easy to overlap actions with different configurations on Smart Actions itself

Interesting that Facebook seems to be averaging 2% for everyone. If I run Facebook myself it averages 15 - 50 % steadily. If I force stop it and let it restart itself then it's back to 2%. I do block it from accessing my Contacts and Location because it poles those each time I run it. I wonder if it continues trying to access those and running my battery down. I end up just freezing Facebook to save my battery and use the browser to log in.
Anyone else notice the same thing?

Noup, but I do remember restricting Facebook notifications on the Android client. I prefer friendcaster for that, since it goes smoother on my battery, and waaaay easier on data.
The battery extender was the only smart action I had set. As u said overlapping can cause issues

Is anyone else seeing Amazon market draining your razr's battery? It happened on my og razr and now on my maxx. Today so far it has used 15% of my battery using 38m 51s of CPU. Any ideas?

Do you have an app from there that's trying to authenticate? Can you freeze it with TiBu?

I uncheck the box for keep screen on when plugged in...the next night it will be checked again and keeps the screen on all night. Any fix for this?
Sent from my DROID RAZR using Tapatalk 2
I have seen this as well. It only rechecks for me after turning the phone off or rebooting. Don't remember if it did this back on GB.

I'm not doing either. I an using the car cradle which keeps the screen on though. Maybe that is resetting it?
Sent from my DROID RAZR using Tapatalk 2
I'd like to figure out how to get it not to dim when plugged in and charging. My EVO would stay on full brightness while charging, the Sensation and Max still dim. It doesn't sleep fully, just dims to being unreadable in a bright room. I do have the development option to not sleep while charging checked.
I know its the opposite of your issue, but would like to hear any ideas.

Possibly, but I can't say for sure. I've never docked mine, but it would make sense to force the screen to stay on so it's ready to use.

i bought an used razr. the saller said that IT is working flawlessly. But it charges slowly and the LED isnt glowing. IT works when a notification arives.
is it broken and can i fix it without sending IT to repair? or maybe it isnt sth fatal
Sent from my XT910 using xda app-developers app
Edit: LED working with lightflow. IT blinks when the screen is off and plugged in.
Sent from my XT910 using xda app-developers app
it's not supposed to unless I got jipped. Mine is brand new from Verizon and the led doesnt glow when charging only when I receive notifications.
allright, ty. my friend has also razr and his blinks. but it charges still slowly. charging for 4:15hours just 62%

yes, it is normal.
That's hot I rarely get over 35, the light doesn't come on when charging. Why waste power? I have the max for the high temperature maybe because of your smaller battery

yes and the fact that the OG razr is thicker
Mine has never glowed when charging. I'm on GB.
Neither mine... If you want that feature, try Light Flow.

Has anybody used any apps that can activate the camera flash to blink for text messages?
Sent from my DROID RAZR using xda premium
Seen that on my bro's iphone 5. It's as if he set it up on purpose to show it off... pfffft apple fanboys lol
Just use lightflow app and it will use your led notification. Plus lightflow can be customized for tons of apps.
Sent from my DROID RAZR using xda premium
Pretty sure LightFlow allows you to set the camera flash to be used as the notification light. It does have a setting to choose it, but I've never had the need, so I don't know if or how well it works.
Sent from my DROID RAZR Maxx using XDA Premium
There is an option in LightFlow to enable it but I couldn't get it to work.

I tried light flow a while ago and it didn't work for me either. :/

This can be found in settings...accessibility. maybe not. I just looked. But I have seen this before within stock options.

After trying so many apps, I finally found one that worked. Try FlashOnRing.

I have a tasker profile for that ... it works
This app works like the iphone's flash alerts, choose module 3 in the app. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=net.megawave.flashalerts

You can't. The Razr reports in steps of 10%, so the only thing to do is download an app from the market that supports the motorola 1% hack (just enable under the settings of the downloaded app), or install a rom that has/supports the built in 1% hack.
Battery Circle is a great percentage app for your battery. It is free on Google Play! Also it does by each percent, not just by 10s.
Thanks guys, I'll just use battery circle for now. I look forward to rooting and roming my new razr!
