Guys/girls, i found the Samsung GalaxyIII home screen launcher + with working widgets (default sony & other apps). so far i found only one bug in it, that the notifications of sms, missed calls are not displayed in the drawer...BUT it is displayed in the status bar..that the only bug i found so far.

i thought about sharing this app i found on other xperia thread and think you might like it.
it's a flashable zip thru CWM but you can also extract it and copy to /system/app and change the permission to rw-r-r also make a backup of the original conversation.apk incase something goes wrong.
btw mms is not working with this conversation.apk and i dont know how to fix it maybe a dev. can help

what do you mean diff phone? i think this will only work with all xperia line up, you can give it a shot, just backup your original conversation.apk at /system/app just to be safe

I love the message "sticker" style on this Xperia S messaging app (there's shadow under the sticker and looks 3D), compare to the earlier messaging app found on Xperia Z which looks too simple. Not ugly, but less than looking good..
But still the earlier one has mini ID picture on every message sticker. which is good.
Hmm...I really wish this Xperia S also has ID pictures with Holo light background
some great apk moders here can do this????

I tried it, it is conversation.apk version 10.1.A.1.1, all messaging works, but still no info about time when message was sent.

For who have ICS 4.0.4 if you wish to change lockscreen, in system/app delete aplication:
"UxpNxtLockScreen" and then reboot;phone must be rooted.

it kicks out the Sony lockscreen replacement, so you got then pure ICS lockscreen

Question... How come it doesn't have any of the other functions such as when you get an sms on the unlock arc like the camera and unlock options?

I believe it's a 'Go Locker' lockscreen but when I have used Go Locker before I found it laggy and of lesser quality than the standard lockscreen... and I hate the click sound they use, much prefer the sony one lol (fickle I know)
I have been told that the stock ICS lockscreen should do similar as in allow you to unlock straight to you sms and show you how many you have etc in the lock screen...
Very similar to the picture, but alas it doesnt on our SXS

Mmm im using the Honami Port launcher and its work Fine for me, you need to use a stock Sony launcher ( like Gx, Advanced, honami )

Here I present i1 Conversations app with (almost) fully working on ICS
Tested on Xperia U running fw B100, may work on Sola too.
What's working :
- Saving MMS as draft
- Attach image, video, sound, contacts
- MMS sending and receiving
What's not:
- Share location
- Removing attached mms in editor cause fc
Installation :
- Flash Conversation i1 for Xperia Sola OR Conversation i1 for Xperia U through recovery
You can also push manually to /system/app with rw-r--r-- permission
(or) Try to install as normal apk (might work). You need to install Super User Mod for your device first

If you use erorcun's phonebook, then you will have many bugs. i removed erorcun's phonebook mod and messaging app fixed.

I don't know if those problems exsisted in Sola. I own Xperia U and haven't got any problems with ui. I use erorcun framework and phonebook port too. I'll remove for Sola if it bugged so much. Thanks for reporting.

Hi all. This app is really great. I love it. There is another bug: the separator that says "Today", "Yesterday",..., as well as the font color is white, which is not very visible in the light grey backgroud of the app.
It would be much better to change it to dark grey for better contrast.

I know, but I'm using the S5 contact previous versions from you, because there is more features, unfortunately only default contact layouts size are not fix.

That problem seems to not be app related. It looks like the problem is somewhere around the phone since the icons in the notifications under the notification bar seem to have the same problem.

latest i9192 rom by ploiki + my stuff ... amke sure you wiped davlik and check your dpi and also wipe data for phone and contacts BUT BACKUP CONTACTS !!!
@adityapal grand prime keyboard works 100% but a bit laggier than stock but its ok thanks ... and for sound in music i tried stock but still

You already got me their problems.
I have said a hundred times, I spread it than I use myself.
Yes it is I changed icon sizes. And you will not fix them.
